The next day
Amy walked into the barn office.
Ty was already there.
" did you sleep at all last night"? Asked Amy .
" no I don't think so " said Ty.
" are you okay " ? Asked Amy.
" yeah just a little stressed " said Ty.
" do you want to talk about it" ? Asked Amy.
"Do you remember when my phone buzzed last night at dinner "? Asked Ty.
" yeah" said Amy.
" well it was JJ he wants to go for lunch" said Ty.
" are you going to go" ? Asked Amy.
" I don't know" said Ty.
" what's holding you back " ? Asked Amy.
" well if he's anything like the rest of my family pre-marriage I don't want to live my life but on the other hand it would be cool to have a Brother" said Ty .
" I love the fact the you feel the need to say pre-marriage like my family isn't completely nuts" said Amy laughing a little.
" your family might be nuts but they're not alcoholic and abusive jackasses" said Ty.
" that's true but you don't know JJ is going to be like that he wasn't exposed to Wade and he wasn't raised by your mom and dad" said Amy.
" You're right but I'm not sure I want to take any chances " said Ty .
" well I support whatever you want to do" said Amy.
" thank you what would you do"? Asked Ty.
" I'd go for lunch " said Amy .

After hours of agonizing Ty finally decided to text JJ.
Hey JJ it's Ty do you still want to go for lunch? Ty texted.

JJ heard his phone buzz and picked it

Of course does tomorrow work for you? JJ texted back.

Yeah Maggie's diner? Ty texted.
