Seeing Double

do it right the first time

Ty was working in the office when his phone started ringing..

"Hello,” answered Ty.

"I'm finally going to do it!” said JJ excitedly.

“Do what?" Asked Ty confused.

"Propose to Nikki,” said JJ.

"That's awesome dude,”said Ty  excitedly.

" Yes it is, " said JJ.

"How are you feeling?" Asked Ty.

"Like I'm about to shit my pants,” said JJ.

"That's completely normal,” said Ty.

"When are you going to it?” Asked Ty. 

“Next week it's our  one year anniversary,” said JJ.

"Where?" Asked Ty.

"I have reservations at a fancy restaurant,” said JJ 

  

"Okay good,” said Ty  .

"Do you have any advice for me?” Asked JJ.

"Do it right the first time and don’t  spill water on her,” said Ty.

"That seems oddly specific did you spill water on Amy?”  Asked JJ. 

"Yep,”said Ty.

"Well I can do way better  than that,” said JJ, confidently

"I'd really hope so,” said Ty with a laugh.

"Okay well I have to go before Nikki gets home. I don't want to ruin the surprise,” said JJ.

"Okay good luck,”said Ty.

"Thanks dude bye,” said JJ.

"Bye,”said Ty Then hung up the phone.

Just as he put his phone down Amy walked in.

"Hey, are you busy?” Asked Amy.

"No, I was just talking to JJ,” Said Ty.

"Oh cool what's going on in his life?” Asked Amy.

"He just called me to tell me that he was going to propose to Nikki this week,” said Ty.

"Oh good for him,” said Amy.

"Yeah, as long as she doesn't spill water on her you should be good,” said Ty.

"You remember that?" Asked Amy surprised .

"Of course I remember that I was freaking mortified,” said Ty.

"Well it all worked out in the end,” said Amy.

"And I couldn't be happier,” said Ty, kissing Amy.

A week later 

JJ and Nikki were eating dinner at the restaurant JJ had reserved. JJ was so nervous he was sweating bullets.

"Are you okay JJ?”  Nikki asked, concerned.

"Yeah, the food is just a little spicy,” said JJ.

"Yeah right you've been acting weird all week you know if you're going to dump me just do it,” said Nicki annoyed.

"No, no, no,no,” said JJ panicking.

He knew that if you didn't do it now he wouldn't be able to do it because you would most likely be dumped.

"It would be kind of stupid to dump the best thing that's ever happened to me don't you think?” Asked JJ.

"Well if you're not dumping me what are you doing?" Asked Nikki confused and frustrated.

"This,” said JJ, smiling and getting down on one knee.

"On my God!” said Nikki in shock.

"Will you marry me?” JJ Asked, smiling.

"Oh my God Yes of course!” said Nikki smiling.

JJ slipped the ring on Nikki's finger.

"I love you baby,” said JJ kissing Nikki.

"I love you too,”said Nikki kissing JJ back.
