I can't believe I was having a twin I can't believe I was having a little boy. I knew he would love me the way no man besides my father would. I felt the tears roll down my face and Jason quickly wiped them.
"Damn we having a jr." he said making me look at him sideways
"You really think I would name my child after you." I laughed walking off to my parents hugging them. The rest of the night we partied danced ate and enjoyed each other's company.
Later that night I laid in bed as Jason continued to pack his things. I was fed up with being treated the way I was and with my parents here I knew he wouldn't try to hurt me.
"I'll call you with my next appointment date." I said as I walked him to the door.
"Bitch don't call me when you need me either all the shit I have done for you. Man come drop me off to my people house bra." He said walking downstairs causing a seen.
I let out a small sigh as I grabbed my keys locking the door leaving everything behind. I made my way to his hood as he texted away on his phone the whole time. "You always on your phone and wonder why I feel the way I do." I said not taking my eyes of the road.
"Bitch stay out my business that's what get your ass fucked up." He shot back not looking up. I glared at him and just kept driving. I was so tired of him talking to me like I was his child or something. "Get out my car Jason." I said as I pulled over off the road.
"Fuck do you mean you taking me to where I gotta go." He said putting his phone now staring at me.
"Jason I'm not playing get out of my car now." I said calmly. I felt his hand come across my face causing me to grab my cheek.
"Bitch I said take me to saint james. What the fuck makes you think I'm playing with you. When I say do something do it." He said while hitting me several times in my face.
"JASON PLEASE STOP." I yelled while trying to block his hits. I felt the warm blood coming down my face as he finally stopped and got out the car walking off making a phone call. I quickly drove off as I sped to back to my house. All I could do was cry after everything we have been through he still put me and my child in harms way. He could've hurted us and didn't care.

Juan'Tai POV As me and rell sat outside I noticed lani was still sitting in her car I decided to go talk to her since she was sitting here for almost 10 minutes. "Aye I bout to go see jai'lani I'll be back." I said getting up walking off. As I approached her door I noticed she had blood all on her shirt and her face. I instantly grew mad as I grabbed the door opening it.
"Man come onnnnnnn what the fuckkkkkk" I yelled grabbing my gun. "Man where the fuck he at." I said as she got out the car hugging onto me. "Man lani come in the house man FUCK." I yelled as we made our way upstairs with rell behind us. "Ima kill this nigga bra I swear to god ima smoke his ass." I said as went inside and to the bathroom to clean her face up. I frowned when I noticed her eye was half shut with a cut under and above it her nose was twisted and her lip was busted. She just sat there as I cleaned her up not saying anything.
We arrived at the hospital to get her nose fix because you can tell it was broken. As we waited in the waiting room to get called back she sat with her head in her lap. "Jai you gotta stop letting this happen man ion like seeing you like this at all man." I said picking her head up. "I just don't know what to do Juan one minute we happy next minute he's mad. I don't do anything. I put him out and this was the outcome I guess huh." She did a little laugh as tears rolled down her face. You can see all the hurt in her face.
"I understand but this is it jai'lani after today he is just the father of your child nothing else." I said as I wiped her face as the doctor called us back.
As she was in surgery I sat in the waiting room on the phone with bri. We wasn't together anymore but she still called and shit like that. I left her last week after she tried to fuck rell.
Brianna: So you home tonight or you out being a home ?
Me: why you always asking me that like you my bitch or something.
Brianna: Well stop fucking me like I'm your bitch murk if you got a problem with me knowing your whereabouts.
"yeah you tripping ima holla at you later when you get your shit together ba." i said hanging up as the doctors came out. "Mr.Frazier?" He said walking up to me. "Your girlfriend has to stay tonight to be watched over night. The baby is okay but all the stress she was in has the baby heart rate low. So we will keep a close eye on her tonight and she can be home by in the morning. You can stay or you can come back her room is 537." He said standing with a clipboard infront of me. "Okay ima go grab something to eat for us and I'll be back." I said standing up putting my phone in my pocket. "Okay we will be here." He said walking away as I made my way to Sonics.
Jai'lani POV The next morning I woke up seeing something white on my nose and my vision blurry. I went to speak but nothing came out. I started to panic as the machines began to beep.
"Lani, Lani baby calm down." I heard Juan say as he grabbed my arm.
"Whats going on." I cried looking around slowly.
"You in the hospital baby just chill we bout to go, but you gotta calm down and chill out you don't wanna hurt the baby anymore." Juan said holding my hands.
"What do you mean anymore?" I asked rubbing my stomach sitting up.
"Your okay just know that. Come on so we can sign these papers and get out of here." He said helping me up. He grabbed my stuff and walked me down to the front desk to get released. I was ready to get home and lay in my bed.
On my way home I texted the group chat letting them know tomorrow was our day so be ready. I put my phone in my purse and looked out the window as Juan drove my car home and rell drove his.
We pulled into my parking spot and he helped me out the car taking me inside. "Thank you." I said lowly as my eyes started to burn.
Juan grabbed my chin "don't thank me I'm always here." He said pecking my lips a few times before walking off into the kitchen.
I made my way into my room and grabbed some pajamas since I wasn't going anywhere and made my way in the shower. After an hour I got out and made my way into the room seeing Juan on the bed talking on the phone.
He left out as I got dress in my crop top and shorts letting my stomach breathe. As I applied lotion I could feel my son moving around learning how to kick. I chuckled as I laid back in the bed turning the tv on.
"Babygirl you hungry?" Juan asked coming in with steak and salad.
I shot up quick and smiled "when am I not." I said grabbing the plate and ranch from him. "Did you make this?" I asked looking at how juicy and seasoned the steak was.
"Yeah girl." He said walking out before coming back with his plate getting on the bed. We ate our food as we watched bad boys for life. I enjoyed moments like this, and with Juan I felt safe.
