January 25th 1 month later

I was now four months pregnant and still in a relationship with Jason. Nothing has changed he still comes home late he still hits me just not as much. I was currently home alone as always cleaning up. Today I had a doctor appointment and Juan agreed on taking me since Jason had my car. Juan still hates Jason because he knows I can do better. Juan and his girlfriend are still together and she has gotten cool with our friendship once she noticed it couldn't get broken up. "Juan can we stop at McDonald's please I'm bout to die" I said as I grabbed his arm resting my head on it. "Yeah fatass" he said laughing causing me to laugh because it's true I always get 2 bacon McGriddle meal with milk plus he didn't know I was pregnant . "You know it babe" I joked grabbing my phone.

20 minutes later we pulled up to the hospital. "Lemme take a picture hold on" I said grabbing my phone. "Say cheese" I said holding the camera up he smiled.

We continued our way in the building "what we here for?" He asked. I came up with a quick lie "oh I'm just getting my monthly check up my period has gotten worse my cramps are worse." He nodded "oh okay well go sign in and I'll be in the waiting room. I walked off feeling bad for not telling him the reason I was here but at the end of the day this is my child so it's my choice.

I laid back on the bed as me and my doctor looked at the baby on the monitor. "Okay ms.cash your doing so good with everything your going through." My doctor knows about me and Jason and she doesn't like him but likes the fact he be here for the baby. "Would you like to the know gender?" She asked looking over at me. I shook my head "no I'm gonna do a gender reveal I turn 6 months." She laughed "Babygirl this baby is growing faster than you think. By next month you will have more stomach. Keep eating the way your are." She said looking at me very seriously. "So gender reveal next month is what you telling me?" I asked annoyed. "No it's all your choice I'm just saying you can't keep hiding this your showing already. These big shirts isn't helping at all." She said cleaning me up turning the monitor off. She got up out the chair and made her way to the computer. "Thank you Ms.Williams for your advice can I get some printouts ?" She nodded as she printed my ultrasounds out. "Have a good day and I'll see you next month on the 25th right?" She asked walking towards the door. I nodded and got dress making my way back to Juan.

As I made my way to the house I noticed Jason wasn't home yet and I was beyond horny. I wanted real sex not forced and I just didn't have that. "Juan can you stay with me for a while?" I asked getting out the car. "Yeah sure ma you okay?" He asked with concern in his face. "Yeah I just don't wanna be alone I don't know how long he going to be gone." I said walking towards my door. As I walked in the house Juan was behind me locking the door. "Jai'Lani I can't keep doing this, I wanna smoke bra he ain finna keep doing this to you." Juan said walking up to me grabbing my face. I just stood there with tears falling down my face. " it's like every time I see you, you always crying and I CANT DO SHIT" he yelled making me cry harder. He grabbed me and sat me on his lap as he sat on the couch. "I don't know what to do Juan I don't." I cried as I laid on his shoulder. "Leave that nigga let me take him out baby please. Niggas already coming for your head cause of him." I stood up faster than he could look up. "WHAT THE FUCK YOU SAY" he stood up towing over me. "NO TELL ME WHO THE FUCK IS QUEEN PIN AND WHY THE FUCK MY GANG LEADER WANNA JOIN MY SHIT WITH YOUR SHIT." He spat back at me. I stood there in shook trying to figure out what the fuck was going on at the trap. "Juan I can explain, I didn't ask for this I was handed this shit bra. I haven't spoke to them in months I don't know shit about nothing. I don't even know how my brother doing bra. So chill the fuck out and start asking shit before I spazzing cause I swear to god next person who get in my face I beating yo ass bra." I yelled walking off. "BITCH WELL BEAT JASON ASS WHEN HE GET HERE." He yelled back before slamming the front door walking out.

I woke up to my front door being slammed, causing me to jump on to see who it was. As I made my way down the dark hallway I cut the livingroom light on seeing Jason sitting on the couch. "Baby come to bed please it's 5 in the morning" I asked half sleep. "I'm coming baby go lay down and stop stressing my child out." He said getting up going in the kitchen. I turned and made my way back to bed waiting on him to join. 10 minutes later he finally got in bed pulling me on him. "Babygirl I'm sorry for acting out lately I've just been trying to get a lot of shit done so when my princess come I can tend to y'all two only." He said holding my waist. "I love you okay but please stop hurting me." I said grinding my hips looking in his eyes. "I love you too baby and I promise ima get right just for y'all two. Tomorrow we going out so be ready get some rest." He said pulling me down kissing my lips passionate and gentle. "Okay" I said slowly drifting back off to sleep.

As we made our way into the restaurant I noticed everybody staring at us. "Baby what's going on?" I asked confused walking hand in hand to our table. "It don't matter just worry about what you wanna eat." He said as somebody came up to take our picture. "Baby say cheese." He said turning to face to camera man.

I kissed his cheek and went back to ordering my food. Finally after 20 minutes our food finally got here. I sat back and admired my steak salad fried shrimp and potatoes. I felt my eyes watering and I laughed causing Jason to look up. "What's wrong baby." He asked confused eating his seafood dish. "My food just look so good." I said biting everything together. He laughed and we continued our date with laughter and happiness. I couldn't believe for the first time in a long time I felt happy with him.
