The streets of Kareem is full of life, full of people just trying to get by. Many don't tend to stay out on the streets for long, but I don't see what the problem is. I've lived here for quite some time and I have grown fond of these streets. Smells from a variety of foods make their way up to me............. man, I would give up anything just for a small portion of that food. The sun should be setting anytime now, and the people would soon leave and the coldness of the night will come to replace their presence. Well what was I expecting, this isn't some kind of fairytale, where things get magical better. I was left on these streets alone, and I will stay here until I'm old enough to start training as a guard. One day I'll be strong enough to defend my kingdom and my friends. I wonder how they are, they won't be able to visit me until a few days, and I can't hang out with other because their parents will mostly likely kill their ears with a long lecture about how they shouldn't talk to a poor boy. Maybe, I'm being a little harsh but I don't really care, that sometimes how they act (at least in my opinion, although my friends parents are lovely...I think).

The Sun is finally setting, the people have started to leave the street; some of the stands are starting to close down for the day, very few people are left on last minute shopping. I started to set up my "home" which was a barrel and two crates, until I felt a tap on my shoulder. I quickly turn to look at the stranger, he was wearing black robe with tints or red that outlined some of his outfit, which covered his body along, with a hood over his head. Even with the suspicious choice of clothing, he seems to be friendly. "Hey, you're hungry?" He asks me, I nod my head, but I can't stop myself from asking

"Who are you?"

"Come, I'll take you to a place where you can have as much food that you want, and away from this rain."

I was confused on what he said, what rain? It was sunny just a moment ago, I look up to the sky to see the clouds covering up the sky with raindrops falling onto my mask. "Come before it gets worse, here you can hold my hand," he said extending out his hand for me to hold. I grab onto his hand as he leads me somewhere, I couldn't help but look back at the alley that I would live in. Is this the last time I will see it? "oh how rude of me, my names is-"

I woke up from my dream with the light hitting my eye, I can't help but think back on the dream. I still can't believe that happened, I got up from my bed, moving aside my hair from my eyes, allowing me to see better. I look back at my bed to see Ollie asleep (lazy little blob, but I love you so I won't wake you up). I head over to my dresser quickly to pick out my clothes for the day until I noticed a note next to my mirror. It reads the following 'Dream please head to the dinning room for breakfast, please don't try to escape through the window again, I boarded up the windows this time.' I quickly check the creak of the boarded windows to the outside my window to see a bunch of pillows on the ground. I quickly go back to reading the note, 'please eat with me son (also I'm scared of Skeppy). Love you son- Dad.'  I can't help but give out a laugh, oh dad. I can't help but think this is a dream, one day I'm living in a streets, and now I'm living in the castle, son of the king of Kareem, who prefers to go by Bad. When I was younger, he adopted me and brought me into this castle. He has given me everything that I have, I'm very grateful for everything that I have.

I quickly get myself ready, and head to the dining room, I quickly see bad and wave at him to get his attention. He quickly notices me and gives me a hug

"Dream you're here!" He said very excited, I chuckle

"so what's for breakfast dad?" He quickly lets me go and shows me my plate, some toast with butter on it, yummy. Bad starts to pout.
