Ep 12

Y/N's POV

Lisa and I spent a nice day at the mall and went back home. I went to bed early so that I can wake up on time.

~Next morning~

I am on time to university. Jungkook walked up to me as I took out my stuff from my locker. "Hey," I said. Jungkook just nodded. Jin appeared around the corner. Jungkook immediately put his arm around my waist. "Jungkook!" I whispered. "What?" he asked but I was looking at Jin. He stared at us for a while.

Our eyes met for just a second before Jin walked away. "Jagiya, why are you staring at him?" Jungkook said. I looked at him to see him frowning at me. I still don't think I can dump Jungkook. I need to be completely sure that I don't love him. I smiled as normally as I can and said, "Nothing." Jungkook raised his right eyebrow but did not say anything.

Jin had the same class as me and Jungkook today. I kept on thinking about Lisa's advice. He suddenly turned and our eyes met. He smiled. I felt my heart beating faster and my cheeks went red. "Y/N?" a voice said from beside me and I broke away from the eye-contact. "Y-Yes?" I said. It was Jungkook. "You love me, right?" he asked. "Huh?" I said.

At that moment, the teacher entered the classroom. "Silence!" he said. Everyone went silent. Jungkook had another class after this one and had to go. I went with Rosie to my class. "Y/N, you seem quiet today," said Rose. "Well... I am-" I began. "Confused?" Rose said. "How did you-" I began again. "It's easy," she said with a smile. I sighed.

We had reached the classroom and sat down in our usual place. Jin came up and sat in front of me. I placed a hand on my heart. Yes... it was beating again. His mere presence around me is making me nervous... "Y/N, are you okay?" Rose asked worriedly. I gulped and nodded. But I couldn't pay even a little bit of attention to the lecture.

The bell rung. I quickly got up to leave. But unfortunately, I bumped into Jin. "Um... sorry," I muttered, going red. "It's okay," said Jin. I did not want to look at him but I sneaked a peek. He was looking at me a bit confusedly. "Are you okay? You are being a bit weird today," said Jin. I let out a nervous laugh and said, "Yeah yeah... I am perfect... Why won't I be?"

Jin grabbed my hand gently and said, "Really? Cuz you seem really red right now." "I... It's just... " I stuttered. Why am I being like this?! I always talked with him comfortably! But now... "Ahem," said someone. Jin and I looked to see Jungkook. He swiftly took my hand out of Jin's grip and said, "What are you doing here?"

Jin rolled his eyes. "This is a classroom, Jungkook. What would I be doing here?" he said, coolly. "Well, whatever it is that you are doing, do it away from my girlfriend," said Jungkook. I stared at Jungkook. He held my hand tightly. Jin left without another word. Jungkook turned towards me. "Meet me in the break," he said and left.

What was that about? I stared at Jungkook in a confused way as he walked away. Then I remembered that I had a class to attend as well and rushed off.

Jungkook's POV

Was it just me... or is Y/N really falling for Jin? It can't be! As far as I know Y/N, she always loved me. She did not even look at anybody else. Tae had tried to flirt with her a few times but she had always turned him down. She only had eyes for me... But why do I feel that she doesn't love me now?

I must be wrong. I have to ask her though... But what if... what if she leaves me? I felt that deep, scary feeling again of being abandoned. I shook myself and said, "Jeon Jungkook, be positive! It's not like she is Ji-eun... Y/N won't leave you!" With that, I consoled myself. And I will talk to Y/N during break and make sure that she still loves me!

Y/N's POV

I did not see Jin or Jungkook during the rest of the two lectures, which is a good thing! I went with Jimin to the cafeteria when the bell rung, signalling for break-time. Jungkook must be in the cafeteria... He asked me to meet him, right? I wonder what he wants to say...

I spotted Jungkook at our regular table with Baekhyun and Jaemin. Lisa, Irene and Jisoo were there too. "Kookie, you wanted to ask me something," I reminded him. Jungkook nodded and said, "Let's eat first." I shrugged and sat down beside him. Jin and Joonie came up after some time.

I had finished eating and I stared at my feet, not wanting to look at either one of the two boys. "Y/N, come with me," said Jungkook. I looked at him and nodded. He took my hand and led me out of the place. Everyone stared at us as usual as we passed by them. "Where are we going?" I asked. "To the rooftop," Jungkook replied.

I walked beside him quietly as he walked on and on. We spotted Suga sleeping in a corner on the rooftop. "We better be quiet," whispered Jungkook. I nodded. Suga definitely hates to be awoken from sleep. I still remember how he had locked Taeyeon up in a locker that day. He had even broken a door!

I was busy remebering everything as Jungkook cleared his throat. I looked at him. For once, his bunny-like face held a very serious expression. "What's wrong?" I asked, feeling nervous. "I want to ask you something," said Jungkook. "Go ahead," I said. "Do you still love me?" Jungkook asked.
