Lisa's POV
"Manoban this is your fifth time being late for this week." Mr. Jang said he is my boss at my work
"I'm sorry sir, it will never happen again I swear"
"Yeah, it will never happen again because you're fired. Get your things on your locker and your last pay then leave." wow I can see smoke coming out of his ear
"But sir" I try to reason but he cut me off
"No but's Manoban, maybe you are good-looking and attract more customers but you're not doing your job properly so please leave"
I just sadly go to the staff room to get my things. Wow, this is my 3rd job this month that and I get fired from all of them. Can you blame me? I'm also attending school while working part-time jobs.
I pack up my things and get my last paycheck. I say goodbye to my coworkers and leave without looking back.
I walk to the busy street of Seoul with my stuff and my 1-week salary of 215000 won or 188 dollars.
I go to the pharmacy where I always buy my medicine. I only have 2 tablets and it will only last for a day, I drink 2 times each day.
"Hey, Lisa back so soon. Same medicine?" Mrs. Kim said the owner of the pharmacy.
For the past year, this is where I buy my medication.
"Yes ma'am but I will only buy 14 enalapril for now" I show her my prescription because you can't buy this medicine without it.
"That will be 7, 914 won"
I give her 10, 000 won
"This is your change 2086 won" she said
"Thank you, Mrs. Kim, see you next time" I take my medicine and my change and finally head to my home.
As I arrive at my crappy apartment, I found a note on my door. If I don't pay until next week I will be kicked out.
"Great"
I have just been fired from my work and now I will also be kicked out of my apartment. I paid so much for this apartment even though it's worn out. Can believe that I pay more than my weekly salary for this kind of house.
And I'm still studying at SNU, I'm a scholar but I still need to buy a few things like school supplies and they are hella expensive. I usually send my 2 weeks salary just for my school supplies and the other 2 weeks' salary is for my food, medicine, and checkups. So I don't have money left to pay my rent. I don't pay my rent for 2 months now. Luckily my landlord is considerate and kind but I think I will be homeless next week.
