Lisa's POV

Me, my mom and my dad move to South Korea from Thailand when I'm 10 years old, my dad got a great job offer here. Everything seems great at first but suddenly my dad disappear in thin air.
My mom changes a lot, she's not like I use to know. But since I'm just a kid I thought it's normal when a child is growing up.
When I turn 12 my mother get married again. My stepdad is kind but he has an alcohol addiction, he always beat me but my mother turns a blind eye.
I'm just a kid back then but my mother doesn't protect me from that guy. Then I got diagnose with Renal artery stenosis when I'm 13. I can't do activities that will make me tired so I stop dancing even though it's my passion. But I discover photography, its cool and amazing so that has become my passion until now.
When I'm 15 my mother abandons me she makes me left home and doesn't come back. Because my stepfather said to my mother that I tried to seduce him but the truth he is trying to rape me luckily my mother arrives before it happens but my stepfather says a different thing. So I don't any choice but to get out of our house.
I still continue my study, I study harder so I will get a great future someday. I sleep in a different house every day but sometimes my friend Bambam let me stay with them every week of the month and I'm so thankful to them.
When I turn 16 I tried to find a job because my savings are gone because I still need to continue my medication. Luckily I find a job and I just need to make sure that the books in the library are always arranged. I work here only for 2 months because my supervisor gets angry with me when I accidentally drop a hot coffee on him.
For the past 4 years of being abandoned, homeless I find a small apartment that I can call home. It's a little bit small but it's okay because I'm the only one living there. I still get some part-time to support my life. I think my longest part-time job only takes 1 year because I always get fired.
This year I start going to college at SNU I hardly get in because it has so many requirements to get in but I manage. But studying there is so expensive that's why I can't my rent for 2 months now.
And I still need to find a part-time job to support my living. I'm currently eating at a convenience store I only eat vegetable salad and water because it's the only thing I'm advisable to eat.
"Jisoo I'm so sick of living with you even it's free. You always prank me, stress me and you make me and my boyfriend break up" a girl angrily said to the girl she is talking to.
"Yah I already said to you that he is cheating on you" she defends why I'm listening to their conversation
"I don't want to hear anything you said Jisoo I'm going to pack my stuff" the girl said and left
"Where in Earth I'm going to get a new roommate that can cook and clean the house for me" she frustratedly said
She is finding a roommate maybe I can talk to her and ask her if we can share the rent. Yeah it's a great idea I will to her now.
"Am miss I'm sorry but I kinda hear your conversation earlier and you saying you are finding a roommate right?" I said then I sit in front of her.
"Can you cook?" she asked
"Yeah but only a few dishes only" I said she just nod
"Can you clean house and wash plates?" she asked again
"Yeah I can" I said then she shakes my hand
"You are my new roommate then" she said. Wow she is so pretty
"Ah thank you very much but can I ask you a question?" I said
"Yeah sure what is it?" she said
"How much do I need to pay for my rent?" I ask
"I thought you are listening to our conversation earlier?" she said
"Yeah I'm listening" I said
"So you also hear that she is not paying any rent" she said
"I just hear that she is sick of living with you even it's free" I said
"Yeah she is living with me for free but she need to clean make food for the both of us" she said
"So I just need to make food for both of us and clean your house and I can live there for free?" I ask
"Yeah" She said
"Thank you very much but what's your name" I said
"Ah I'm Jisoo Kim how about you? " she said
"I'm Lalisa Manoban but you can call me Lisa" I said
"Nice too meet you Lisa my new roommate and please don't leave like my roommate earlier" she said
"I hope so too" I said
