Chapter - 17 The Ball

Y/n's P.O.V

I got ready for the ball, pulling up my long white silk gloves, and straightening my f/c light flowing dress, that had shown off my body, at least, that's what Glaze had said. She was doing my hair and talking to me comfortingly, I tried to keep the conversation going, but I soon broke into tears as Glaze accidentally brought up exceeds. "Y/n, please, I'm so sorry, I didn't, I mean ..." She didn't knew what to do as I continued to cry. No one knew, they never saw me like this before the tournament, I was always happy and cheerful, now ever since the tournament and it's events, they say me got mad, angry, furious, scared, sad and ... broken. 

The door opened to find Lucy, Erza, Wendy, and Mira. Yoan, Yinny, and Glaze stood, looking at the Fairy Tail ladies. The girls looked at me in conflict, I couldn't blame them, everyone found out that I was Mavis's daughter, I was the rightful guildmaster for Fairy Tail, and because of that all the Fairy Tail members were had a lot of wild emotions about me. Especially my guild members. 

The Fairy Tail girls came to me and one-by-one hugged me. When they were down they smiled kindly. "You may have removed the Fairy Tail guild mark." Erza stated, crossing her arms. "but you are still a member of Fairy Tail and always will be."

"Erza's right Y/n." Lucy said looking at me sadly, looking like she was about to cry. "Even if you're part of Dragon Gem now, you're still gonna be one of us."

Wendy nodded and hugged me again. "You will always me welcomed at Fairy Tail." I hugged back, trying to hold back tears.

Mira put her hand on me when Wendy let go, rubbing my arm thoughtfully. She smiled and digged into boobs, bringing out a plush stuffed animal of Infinie. His purple blue fur rubbed against my fingers. "... Infinie maybe gone, but wouldn't be better to celebrate his memories instead of crying? WHat would you think he would say?"

I stood there shocked. Mira was right, Infinie would have knew wanted me to be sad and cry, he would have wanted me to be happy and celebrate for the amazing achievement we made. Dragon Gem earned third-place, we defeated evil-future-Rogue and my-evil-future-self. My eyes widen in realization. I turned evil ... because somewhere along the way ... Infine died. I hugged the stuffed animal. I can't turn evil because of that ... I have to live the way Infine wanted me to live. 

I looked up and smiled at every girl in the room. "Thank you ... so much."

~Time skip by I really missed saying/typing time skips~ 

I danced, ate and talked at the ball. Although Infinie was still on my mind, I tried to have fun just for him. When I went to sat down as I got my fifth plate, my mother, and Master Makarov sat where I was seated. I put my fork and knife down. "Mama? Master Makarov?" The guild master looked at me and smiled. "Miss Y/n, the first master has informed me of your situation of being immortal because of your father." I looked at mom, wondering if she told the master that I'm the daughter of the dark one. "Don't worry, I will keep this a secret, but please tell me, do you wish for the spell to be undone?"

"You mean, I won't be immortal anymore?" I blinked at mama and master Makarov as they nodded. "we could make it happen sweetie." mama said smiling, "All you have to say is yes." My eyes gleamed, I nodded, I didn't want to live forever, even if I do, I knew it would be lonely since I didn't have any immortal company anymore. 

Master Makarov slapped his palms together. "it is setted then, after tomorrow morning you will be a living mortal who will age at the same rate." They got up and started to leave. "oh one more thing Y/n." Makarov said, turning his head. "Even though I am the master of Fairy Tail, I will always be willing to give that title up for you."

I smiled as Yoan, Yinny, Yango, Astrum, Stone, Seaweed, Glaze, Lucin, and Evistix walked toward my table. I tood up and jumped into the balance triplets arms. "Thank you Maki, I grew up in Fairy Tail, that guild will always be my childhood home, but I think I found my true home." Makarov smiled, and so did mama. "Very well."

As they went a slow dance was coming on, I looked around and saw that everyone was choosing a partner, I smiled as I wanted to dance as well, when I was looking around I found-

Hey Guys ... *bows to reader-chan* please forgive me, it's been NINE MONTHS, I'm sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry. It's just, It was my first year in high school, and I was in three clubs, I had a drama and slam poetry performance, my brother came back into my life, I fell into depression again, my father went in the hospital after 30 years of not going. This school year was scary for me, and because of that I didn't take this fanfic seriously enough and I'm so sorry for that. I know I have no right to make excuses after you guys had to wait for NINE MONTHS!! But I promise I will make it up to you all. After all, I'm making all lemon sections for each guy so you could choose to read the one you always wanted to read, or all of them, I have to make 15 lemons for you guys, and it will be worth the blood lost.
