We all rested and mourned, but we couldn't stay put for long, we needed to make our way to find the Ochirus.
Their names were Chira, Houre, Jusa, Krei, and Echo. The one who saw the roots was Echo, who was also the most powerful one of them. She led the way, and told me they could feel the tree of life inside them, since they were born from them.
First, they led me to a less pink and more brown-ish place, kind of a storage place. There were exactly 10 light swords there, made from wood and enchanted carbon compounds. I would've taken the next few hours experimenting with them, but I had more important matters at that time.
All five of them took 2 weapons in each hand and they instantly melted as one, and all of them grew just a slight bit. Did they eat it? I did not know. I wasn't sure if I wanted to know.
Then Echo led the way, hopefully to the tree.
We were only 10 steps in when we saw some mango sticks moving from the corner of our eyes. As soon as we had seen them, Echo threw a pointy arrowhead towards it- summoned out of thin air- and killed it with one shot. We then moved slowly with extreme precaution. Most of the time, no monsters disturbed us, given that there were 5 of us who were extremely strong tree warriors who moved with blinding speed.
Any which were foolish enough to attack us went down as quickly as a fly's flap.
"We have to walk just a-" Chira began to say, but stopped in the middle.
She tilted her head, and her eyes went wide. Suddenly, something flew out of one side and passed through her.
"NO!" I yelled and tried to lunge for her but the other four kept me down. "She'll be fine, keep low." said Echo.
I wasn't sure how she'd be fine when something had impaled her right through the chest... but she was a trepent, maybe she could live with that.
We slid down something and lay down on the floor.
We heard a loud BOOM! BOOM! Coming from where we'd come from.
Whalius emerged from the mist, and my heart burned with many emotions: rage, rage, hate, rage, hate, disgust, rage, rage, and hate.
It held its usual double bladed helicopter sword. Its eyes were murderous. It was alone.
It was alone... And there were 6 of us...
"Whalius." Echo said, "You."
"Echo! My, my, look how you've grown. It will be fun ripping you apart." Whalius flexed his arms, and threw them at god-speed, at first it looked like he had just thrown his arms empty, but a javelin shape made its way towards echo.
I had just enough time to think: FU- when Echo's eyes burst with actual deep red and orange fire, and she flicked her hands and cut the javelin right out the air with her light carbon sword.
I stared at her, awe-struck at her skills, as she slowly advanced towards Whalius.
I looked at the others, and they were just standing, cross armed. I remembered the line... "Dispose the lead, in a place of fury," Was this the place mentioned? It looked fierce pink, and Echo's eyes were obviously burning with power. And Whalius was the leader of the army...
Then it struck me.
Echo wasn't just a trepent- she was a spirit, and this was her birthplace- all we were standing on, and she was this place, and she was very enraged in furious anger right now.
I realised this was not my battle. As much as I wanted to rip apart Whalius myself, it was not my place.
Echo picked up pace.
"It seems you have grown and learnt well, my enemy. Let's get this over with." Whalius charged at Echo with his sword.
Echo sped at him, holding her swords in both hands now.
Whalius took the first attack, and attacked her right in the chest. But Echo parried the attack easily, and jumped up into the air.
She came down on Whalius and thrust one of her swords into his head, peeling straight through like butter. She rolled off, using his head as a kick start, landing 10 feet away.
Whalius roared in agony and pulled out the sword in his head. His eyes seemed to go even more enraged now. He flew up and straight at Echo, this time spinning his blade. Echo jumped straight above him and landed on his back. Whalus turned and tried to shake her off, but Echo did a flip and jumped off his back, implanting her second sword in the side of his waist. She ran across the field to where Whalius had dropped her sword, and Whalius dropped from the sky. His Heli-blade skittered across the floor as Echo made her way to her sword. She rolled in, picked it up and without even looking, sent it flying straight at Whalius. He had just enough time to look back up and get on his knees as the sword sailed straight through his chest. He struggled back, now in deep pain and roared a cry so loud even Echo staggered in her path to him.
When I got my senses back, Whalius was standing 10 feet tall about 20 yards away from Echo. Echo was on her knees, looking at him.
Then Whalius held his hands up, and his heli-blade flew into his hands. Echo charged around in a circle, giving Whalius a difficult shot if he wanted to throw his blade. He finally switched his grips and threw it pinpoint to where Echo would have been if she continued in her circle, but she took this opportunity to change her course and jump right above the spot. She used the blade as a source of land and jumped right towards Whalius. She landed 5 yards away from him and continued racing. Whalius tried getting back his blade, or retreating, his eyes now filled with fear as Echo ran at him with lightning speed and lunged.
Whalius had no chance of survival.
Echo summoned both her swords at the same time and chopped Whalius into three incredibly ugly pieces, and fell in front, skidding across the floor.
