The next day

We all woke up as I groaned. Those beds were HORRIBLE!
“My back hurts…” I mumbled.
They leaded us to this room with roller blades.
Few minutes later
We all gathered at a roller blade arena as we all had on our skates.
“This is going to be fun…” I smiled.
“But you haven’t skated in years, Anna.” Kirby said.
“What if you get hurt?” She asked.
“Don’t worry, I’ll be fine. What matters is that Lloyd wins and we all get off this island with our power.” I told him.
“Welcome to my favorite event, Thunder Blade!” He roared as we looked at him.
“Hey, I know this game. It’s just like--.”
“No! It’s not like that! This is MY game! I made it up!” Che cuts him off.
Man, he could make a big argument out of something so little.
“It’s already settled. A Jaydeblade for Lloyd, Master of Power. And another for Camile, Master of Form. Where are you?” He asked as Camile revealed herself.
She got her Jaydeblade as he continues.
“The rules are simple. Each lap with your blade in possession, a point. The one with the most points before the time expires, you win.”
“Woah, woah, woah. What about us? Just stand here?” Turner asked.
“You can help anyone you wish. Or hurt for that matter.” Chen smiled, knowing most of them will side with Camile.
“Feel free to choose sides.”
Turner bumped pass us as he got his helmet.
“What did you say about having targets on our backs?” Lloyd asked as I rolled by him.
“Don’t worry, we’re still a teeAAaaam.” Kai said before falling over.
“Just leave it to us, Lloyd. We’ll cover you while you try to get most points.”
“I’m being real honest with you, Miss Anna.” Jay started.
“Please. Just call me Anna.” I told him.
“Sorry. But this doesn’t look good.” He said as we looked at our opposing team.

Le Time skipped

“Lloyd, Master of Power, versus Camile, Master of Form.” He announce.
“Most laps with their Jaydeblade wins, loser is out! Thunder Bladers! On your marks, get ready, Good luck! But mostly for Camile because everyone wants the Green Ninja out.”
A horn bellowed as the two Masters started. Some cheering audio played in the background as the second horn goes off. We started racing as Jay and Kai came beside me.
“It’s us against the world, guys. If Lloyd has any chance of moving forward in the tournament, it’s up to us three.” Jay told us as we nodded in response.
I started to pick up speed as someone put their hand on my shoulder. Looking back to see Neuro.
“What do you want?” I asked annoyed.
“You sound mad…”
“What do you want me to sound like? Joyful? You lied, Neuro. Why won’t I be mad for that?”
He stayed silent.
“You know what Chen is going to do with the power when he take everyone’s power and you still lied about it. I’m better of working for the people who I care about.” I told him as I brushed his hand of my shoulder and continued on with the tournament.

With Kai

Skylor came up to me as I looked at her.
“Lloyd is you biggest competition. If he lose this tournament, what’s left to stand in your way?” She asked me.
“I never think of it.” I simply told her.
“Well, maybe you should.” She said to me as she pushed me down to continue the race.
