"Lucas stop pacing!" I told Lucas.

"Julia! He wants you! Cody has to be...be...what's the word I'm looking for?"

I roll my eyes and plop myself on the bed. "Punished? Beaten? Sent to Africa? He could get Ebola there."

Lucas stops pacing and looks at me. "This is not a joking manner. Cody Cooper has to get punished. One for coming on our lands. Two, for trying to get you to be his mate." Lucas starts pacing the room again.

The door opens, "Sir we have a problem." I think this was Lucas' beta.

"Justin what is it?"

"Cody Cooper sir."

Lucas grinds his teeth together. "What about him?"

"Come see for yourself." Justin responds.

Lucas takes my hand and leads me downstairs.

"Alpha!" A girl called.

Soon Cody appears. "Alpha Lucas," he smiles deadly, "You're the man who won't let Julia be my chosen mate. Well I've known her first and loved her first. So back your ass off."

Everyone in the room gasped. I felt like I was in some dramatic Spanish opera.

"If you loved her so much why'd you let her go?" Lucas asks with venom in his voice.

"Uhh. Well, you see." Cody stutters.

"Exactly. I love her more than you ever could in a billon years. So Cody if I were you I'd walk out before I get my paws on you."

I look at both of them, and know Lucas will win if they fight.

"I came to give a message to Julia. From Rebecca."

I nod at him to let him continue.

Cody's voice goes higher, mocking my sister. "I will get my hands on your mate. So Julia as revenge just save the drama and give him to me."

I raise my eyebrows.

She wants war. Bring it!

"Tell her I said to back off. He's mine not hers. The Sun and Rain gods have paired us together. If she wants him," I put a lot of sting in these next words, "Then she has to bring her lazy fatass over here and get him."

Cody nods. "You know you could just be my-"

Lucas cuts him short, "Get out!!"

Then Cody scurries out the front door.

"Is our pack going to be alright?" A man whispers.

Lucas closes his eyes. "Our pack is going to be fine. We are the most powerful pack. Our Luna, my love, is in danger though. Somebody else wants her. And her sister is trying to get me. But we will be fine."

The pack members resume to their jobs in the pack house.

Lucas takes my hand and we head to his office.

"I've been thinking." I start to say.

"About?"

"About us. My sister is determined to get you. We need to go somewhere. Our own house. That way we have privacy and my sister and Cody won't know where we are."

Lucas studies my face, searching for doubt.

"Good idea. Not to far and not to close. But if someone needs us we'll be there."

I bite my lip and nod. "Also we can... Raise a... Family there." I look down just to be pushed up to look at Lucas.

"Are you trying to tell me something? Are you pregnant?"

I turn bright red, "No not that I know of."

Lucas stares into my eyes. "Would you want a family?"

"Yes. But I'd probably die. Since you're an alpha and I'm a White Wolf."

"I would not let that happen. I love you Julia." He plants his lips on mine.

I kiss Lucas and his hands roam my body.

The door swings open and Justin's there. "Oh were you about to..." He pelvic thrusts the air.

"No. But what do you need?" I ask.

"Nothing, just heard the sound of kissing. Well continue." Justin walks out the door kissing his hand.

Yeah he ruined the mood.

"Is Justin your beta?"

Lucas smiles lightly and shakes his head no. "He was one of the werewolves in the training I did. He followed me when I came home. Justin's training to be beta, since Grams husband needs a break. Have you met Gramps?"

I smile, "No just grams."

"Well you're about to meet the best man alive. Except for me."
