My Sister Took My Mate

Another Heartbreak?

Lucas groans and gets off of me. When he opens the door a skinny blonde is standing against the door frame. 

"Rose. I'm tired of telling you, get the fuck out of my face! I don't love you, I never had. Leave!"

Rose puts her hand on Lucas' chest and says, "We had a fun time before." I see her glance at me for a brief second. "Before she came along." 

Lucas growls. "Get out!"

Rose pushes him, "Why? I know you're just using her!" Then she sniffs the air, "Gosh, she's your mate."

"No shit blonde." Then he shoves her out the door, and slams it shut.

"Julia, calm down." My wolf says.

I take three deep breaths. Calm yourself. I will not get heartbroken from a guy. 

Not just any guy. My mate. 

Of course I will be heartbroken. Julia get yourself together!

"I'm sorry about that." Lucas whispers.

I nod, afraid my voice will show that I am about to cry. He was using me? I knew I couldn't trust him.

"Julia. Open your eyes." Lucas commands me in his alpha tone. 

I shake my head no.

"I wasn't asking, I told you. Now open them."

I don't want to upset him. So I do open my eyes. I can feel my eye color is no longer brown, but pure white.

I close my eyes again, and I feel Lucas' lips on mine. 

"Are you sure you want me?" I ask when I pull away from the kiss. 

Lucas stares at me in shock. "Yes, I love you. I was- am happy that I found you. You are rare. Not only because you are a White Wolf but because you are mine. You are my one in a billion, and I am yours in a billion. We are the other half of each other." 

I look up at him, my eyes still white. "Did you sleep with her?"

He hesitates, "Yes. Because I was desperate, and kinda drunk the first time."

"Hah! First time? No wonder she thinks she owns you. You slept with her one to many times!" I spit at him.

I get up and try to run out of the room. 

But Lucas stops me, "Sorry babe. You are not going anywhere."

I pout, then feel two sharp needles inject into my skin, then his tongue licks up my blood.

He marked me. Lucas marked me. It wasn't even a real mark! It was a Testeree. A before bite, before the actual mark. 

I suddenly feel like kissing Lucas all over. It's the mark acting up.

I turn around to face Lucas and press myself to him. My body fits perfectly into his. Lucas' hands slide down to my ass, and gives it a little squeeze. 

"I will not! I don't want to do it! Or get tempted to. Can you give me a tour of the house?" I ask pushing Lucas away from me. 

He nods and we go down stairs. 

A huge group of people are in the living room. 

"Fellow pack, I welcome you to your new Luna!" Lucas announces. 

I blush. 

Wait I'm gonna be the Luna? I am nowhere close to be Luna. I am not prepared and mostly not brave enough. 

"You'll be fine, I'll help you throughout the way. Okay?" Lucas whispers just for me to hear.

I nod, "Okay." then I go up on my toes to kiss him. Damn he was tall!

Everyone cheers and applauds for us.

I never wanted this kiss to end, but a booming voice stops us from continuing.
