The next day, Kirishima went to Marukawa Shoten for work. Once he entered the building and showed his ID, he went towards the elevator and pushed the button with the number 6 that was Isaka-san's desk. After a minute with stops between his trip, he finally reached his destination.
He exited the elevator and walked towards the desk, only to see Asahina Kaoru, the president's personal secretary and childhood friend.
Asahina raised his head and saw the editor approaching him with a business smile on his lips.
"Goodmorning Kirishima-san. May I help you with something?"
"Ah, yes I actually came to see Isaka-san to discuss something"
"Oh, about the matter in Shirakawa publishing company"
"Yes"
"Wait a moment" he said and entered the room, closing the doors behind him. While he was waiting, he was thinking about the yesterday events in his household.
Hiyo was tugging his sleeve and watched him with sparkling eyes and rosy cheeks, a small smile on her lips.
"I know everything I have is here, but I can't watch papa not taking an opportunity that can help his work better. I-I mean, if papa wants to go to Sawara, Hiyo will come with him to support him and not leaving him alone because he can't cook or do house chores alone.", her father laughed wholeheartedly and her smile became wider.
"As for the school, if we leave before it starts, then I will not lose the fifth grade and I can attend it there. I will meet a lot of friends and I will explore Sawara more. I remember Obaachan and Ojisaan going there for holidays, right?", she asked and her grandma remembered the time they took Hiyori there. She was very little but it was amazing.
"Oh, yes! We have a cottage there near the center. It's really amazing. Do you remember it?"
"Not exactly, but I remember some things. It was indeed wonderful. Anyway, I can explore Sawara more with friends and going on trips with the school. We can taste their local foods and we can go the zoo or the aquarium! It will be awesome!", she said and gave a fist on the air while her father and grandma gave a chuckle at the display
"Sooo, if we live there for 4 months, you won't have a problem, will you?"
"If papa is happy, then Hiyo is happy too!!", she said and then she gave a tight hug to Kirishima, who returned it immediately and then lifting her, twirling her in the air.
It was official... They will go to Sawara.
His thoughts stopped when Asahina exited the room and motioned him to enter inside. Once he entered, the doors closed and there he was with Isaka Ryuichiro, who was looking at him with a big smile and sparkling eyes. Kirishima gave a smile too and went to sit across the predisent, with crossed legs and his hands on the arms of the armchair.
"Good morning to our number one chief editor on Shonen Manga~"
"Good morning Isaka-san"
"So Kirishima, have you decided?"
"Yes, I did decide with my daughter"
"Aaaand?"
"I am going to accept your offer. I will be staying in a cottage my parents have there and I will take Hiyori with me. She is going to attend a school there in order not to lose her grade and I'll be traveling with my car to do tours in Sawara and explore it as much as I can"
"I am very glad you decided Kirishima. As for your place there, you are going to do what you usually do here, the hours are sometimes fewer than here and other times can be the same or more. This depends on how things will go. Your salary will be slightly higher and of course we will cover you expenses that had to do with your work. We were going to rent you an apartment, but if you have a house there, then it's fine. "
"When do I start there? "
"Weeell", he said and took a piece of paper from a drawer with a title in bolt that says 'PROGRAM IN SHIKAWARA' and above some timetables. He gave it to Kirishima and the latter began to read it. When he did, he raised his head to see the president with a sly smile.
"You have to leave this weekend because on Monday, the company will start working"
"So I have to leave tomorrow or in two days, right?"
"You don't have to buy tickets since Sawara is outside Tokyo, so you need to take the train and then use the car you are going to hire"
"Or I can go with my car since I don't have to buy tickets. Well, it's settled"
"Yes!" Isaka-san said and then clapped his hands. "Thank you very much for accepting the offer. You really are saving my old friend"
"The pleasure is mine. Thank you for your offer", he said and bowed his head with a smile gracing his lips. "Now if you excuse me, I need to continue my work"
"Oh, yes! Well, have a nice day Kirishima!" he said and then the latter exited the room, bowing once again at Isaka-san and Asahina and then going to his department. When he sat on his chair, he continued his work and then stopping it to send a message to Hiyori, telling her to get ready because they were going to leave tomorrow morning.
8 hours have passed and Kirishima was ready to leave when he was stopped from Katou.
He turned to see his subordinate looking at him with sadness and because of that, he gave a smile and then told to his other subordinates to stop their work and go with him in a bar to buy them drinks.
Once they finished, they went to a near bar to drink and eat and of course chat before Kirishima leaves for Sawara.
They stayed there for 2 hours, laughing and remembering the times they first entered Marukawa and saying their goodbyes to the dashing chief editor. Once they finished, he went to his apartment, where Hiyori was waiting for him in order to get their suitcases ready.
When he arrived, his daughter welcomed him, guided him to the dining table to eat their diner, began eating and chatting slightly about their day and once they finished, they went to their bedrooms to pack their clothes and then go to sleep.
Almost 8 hours passed and the time was 6.00 in the morning.
Kirishima woke up with his daughter, ate their breakfast that Hiyori made, dressed up, took their stuff and exited their apartment. They went to the complex's parking lot, entered the car and put their seat belts. Once they did it, Kirishima looked at his daughter from the rear view mirror, who was grinning and blushing with sparkled eyes.
He couldn't help but chuckle with this and then start the machine.
Even though the trip will be long, it seems that not only him, but also Hiyori was looking forward for the trip.
