chapter 8

before this chapter starts I just wanna say thank you so much for 100 reads!! :D I've never really done a Wattpad story before. this is like my first time making one, i had the kagehina one but i eventually discontinued it since the first chapter was just really messy and didn't have a plot plus i didn't know if i wanted to publish the chapters since i already knew it wasn't gonna be finished. i decided to make the norray au considering how there's not really a lot of fanfics about them or most of them just discontinued:((. I WILL finish this au and I'm not planning to make it short so please stick around and maybe drop a follow, its completely free. please give me recommendations because so far i just only have one idea:(

normans pov:

ray and i arrive back at the shelter with him around my arm. he was so soft and comfortable, i felt at ease. i looked down at ray and asked him, "can i hold you?" i could mark that ray's soft skin turned red even if i could only see half of it. he kept staring down stuttering out the words. "idiot... you don't have... to ask me." i laughed and picked him up bridal style, i hurried over to my office. once we arrived i dropped ray at the couch and moved back to the office doors to lock them. once ray heard the click he said, "I told you to wait, we're underage." 

"no, that's not why we're here for but i wouldn't mind." i smirked at him

"shut up stupid" he went across my desk and rested on it. he took the brown brag wrapped around his neck and arm off then places it on my desk.

"must you need to sit on my desk?"

"yes."

of course, what did i expect. "anyways, what are we going to do when this demon business is over? like what's going to happen to us?"

"hmm i really don't know but come here, let me inform you on a secret."

i love it when he does this. he's so cute and demanding when that's supposed to be my job. i walked towards the figure that had messy hair covering one of the grey colored eyes he posses, wearing black trousers matching the turtle neck that is the shade of ink with the white buttoned-up coat and tall brown combat boots. once i head over, ray grabs a hold of my white tux and pulls me in close where his lips met close to my ear, he whispers, "i don't know what we'll do at the human world but you and me both will end up being married living together, just the two of us and we'll visit our family occasionally." he pushes me away where i could face him "deal?" he asks. i crinkled my eyes and smiled at him, "deal." ray lets out a small smile and then says "good, ill look forward to see that ring." as he let the hand from his pocket go besides his face, showing the back of his hand and wiggling his ring finger. i chuckled as i went towards ray, i placed my palms holding his waist and leaned in for a kiss, he kisses me back and holds my right cheek. our lips eventually depart and i let the words out of my mouth "i love you." ray looked completely normal but then changes his expression as he realizes what i just said. he smirks and says "prove it." 

"do you want to test me?" i state. 

"no, im good." ray then jumps down from my desk walking besides me brushing his elbow against mine. "i believe you" he states as he stood where the office doors are. then he unlocks the doors and exits out of them. oh how much i love that emo. i smiled to myself, did i always like ray. just being with him makes my feelings so much stronger and i don't even know why. i head back to my desk and start mapping the demon's sanctuaries. emma barges in my office, "NORMAN, CAN WE TALK?" she yells out with tears in her eyes. seeing her cry breaks me, my childhood crush in tears is as upsetting as ray catching a cold. "yes, of course. what would you like to talk about?"

she breaks down and falls to the ground, I stood up from my desk and sprint walk towards her. i kneel down next to her and hugged her. "emma are you okay?" i break the hug and put my hands on each of her elbows. she then looks up from the ground and faces me, "i.. i.. I MISS YOU NORMAN." she then pulls me in close and places her lips on mine. I tried to pull away but she held my neck, finally after i broke the kiss she pulled me in close and continued to kiss me. as me and emma detected an annoyed voice saying "ARE YOU SERIOUS?" emma finally pulled away. as she pulled away i lost my balance and fell on my ass, not too much of a far distance but there was still a range. emma looked back at where the voice was from, emma didn't say anything but stared at the unknown figure. i decided to turn my attention to where she was staring at. as i figured out who the unknown figure was i let out a gasp. hayato came from the shadows and said "emma can you leave please, i need to have a talk with norman." he death stares at me as he said norman. "yea.. sure." emma replies as she quickly left the office. i look back at hayato who was standing towards me bending his back down to where his face was staring at mine. he cries out "ARE YOU AN IDIOT? YOU'RE DATING RAY. NOT EMMA." 

"ITS NOT WHAT IT SEEMS I SWEAR. EMMA CAME IN HERE CRYING AND KISSED ME I SWEAR I DIDNT DO ANYTHING." i cried out frightened that he will tell ray. hayato stood back up and walked away from me for a second with his hands on his head. he then comes back where i was sitting and screams out 

"WHAT MAKES YOU THINK ITS A GOOD IDEA TO GO CLOSE TO YOUR EX WHO'S CRYING."

"I DIDNT KNOW, SHES STILL MY FRIEND."

"SHE DOESNT SEEM LIKE YOUR 'FRIEND,' FUCK YOU BOSS. IMAGINE IF IT WAS RAY WHO CAME HERE INSTEAD OF ME. YOU'RE SO DARN LUCKY THAT RAY ISNT HERE, HE TOLD ME TO COME HERE BECAUSE OF THE BAG HE LEFT AT YOUR DESK."

"LOOK I KNOW IT LOOKS BAD BUT I DONT LIKE HER, I LOVE RAY."

"YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY PERSON WHO LOVES RAY. BOSS HOW IGNORANT CAN YOU BE TOWARDS RAYS FEELINGS. YOU GUYS JUST STARTED DATING AND YOU DO SOMETHING STUPID LIKE THIS?"

"HAYATO PLEASE DONT TELL RAY I DONT WANT TO LOSE HIM."

"HE DESERVES TO KNOW." hayato yelled out. 

"i know, you're right. i just don't want to lose him--i was being ignorant, you're right. i love ray so much... i want to get married to him. i want to have a happy life with him, i want to be the one by his side." i said as i cried to myself, tears coming down uncontrollably. i love ray so much please--please don't take him away from me. he's all i want and have. hayato kneels down to where i am. "its okay boss, i get it but what you did still doesn't make it right and ray deserves to know." i wept even further. hiccuping and gasping for air, i can't lose ray not now or ever. i grabbed my sleeves wiping the tears off my face that continue to come, every tear that went down i tried to wipe as fast as i could but a puddle appeared on the floor and it was all from me. "boss... please don't cry, its the right thing to do." i yell out, "YES I KNOW JUST GO TELL HIM ALREADY LET ME BE AND CLOSE THE DOORS ON YOUR WAY OUT." hayato gets up and says "understood." hayato grabs rays bag and leaves the room, he closes the doors on his way out. i was left alone in my office and it was going to stay that way when hayato tells ray. i continued to sob, i finally got the energy to stand back up but it was just temporary as I fell back to the grown in an instant. i crawled to the couch and forced myself on. i crawled into a little ball and held the pillow, crying onto it until the doors were kicked wide open.
