Hospital RoomThor awakened on a hospital bed, with Triston sitting in a chair nearby. Thor looked over at Triston. "Son," he said and Triston looked up at him.
"Father, you're awake," he said as he got up.
"Come on, let's get out of here-" Thor started to say before he tried to get up but couldn't. He then noticed restraints on his wrists now. He pulled at them, trying to free himself, to no avail. "It's not possible," Thor muttered.
"Father-" Triston started to say.
"Quiet, boy," Thor said before he tried again, mustering all his strength. One of his hands slipped free from its restraint. "Ah, yes. I've outsmarted it," Thor said before looking up at Triston, who looked at him annoyed.
County Hospital ER
Jane again faced the Admissions Nurse, with Erik and Darcy nearby. "I'm sorry, only relatives can visit patients," the nurse said.
"But...I'm his wife," Jane made up and Darcy stifled a snicker as the Nurse looked doubtful.
"I thought you said you didn't know him," the nurse said.
"I meant I barely know him anymore. The man he's become. He's changed. He's changed my son too, the one that was here last night too. I mean, what woman really knows her husband, anyway?" Jane asked.
"None of us, dear. They're in Room 102," the nurse said.
Hospital Corridor
Jane, Erik & Darcy headed down the corridor, passing the destruction of the ER Thor wrecked the previous night. Then they entered Thor's room.
Hospital Room 102
They stepped inside to find Thor's bed empty and Triston also nowhere to be seen.
Hospital Parking Lot
Jane, Erik, & Darcy quickly climbed into Jane's SUV. Once inside, Jane started the car in frustration. "Typical. I just lost my two most important pieces of evidence," Jane said.
"So now what?" Darcy asked.
"We find them," Jane said.
"Did you see what one of them did in there? Imagine what both of them can do. I don't know if finding them is the best idea," Erik said.
"I want to know what that thing was, and they may have the answers. We don't have a choice," Jane said.
"Oo-kay," Darcy said before she pulled out her taser and a can of mace.
"So we're just gonna spend the rest of the day looking for them?" Erik asked.
"However long it takes," Jane said before she put the car in reverse and began to back up, when-
BAM!
She collided with Thor & Triston again, but only Thor fell down. Triston looked down as his father fell, who was wearing stolen hospital scrubs. Triston wanted to let out a small chuckle but Thor gave him a look.
Jane & Erik emerged from the SUV, to help, but to see that Triston didn't even have a scratch on him, or any clue that he was hurt. He lifted his hand out, which Thor took to help lift him up to his feet. "I'm so sorry. I swear I'm not doing that on purpose," Jane said as Triston lifted Thor up.
