Asgard
Heimdall's ObservatorySif and the Warriors Three entered warily to find the intimidating Heimdall standing before the Observatory's controls. He glared at them accusingly. "Good Heimdall, less us explain-" Volstagg started to say.
"You would defy the commands of Loki our King, break every oath you have taken as warriors, and commit treason to bring Thor & Triston back?" Heimdall asked as the four exchanged nervous glances.
"Yes, but-" Sif started to say.
"Good," Heimdall said and the group looked puzzled. What did he just say?
"So you'll help us?" Volstagg asked.
"I am bound by honor to our King. I cannot open the Bifrost to you," Heimdall said, and with that, he left them alone in the Observatory as they exchanged puzzled looks.
"Complicated fellow, isn't he?" Fandral said.
"Now what do we do?" Volstagg asked, then Sif glanced at the control panel.
"Look!" she exclaimed, and the others turned to see Heimdall's sword stuck into the control panel. They exchanged a grin as they realized they had an ally. Sif hit the controls, and the Bifrost apparatus fired up.

SHIELD Base
Security RoomPhill raced in as a SHIELD Techie called up satellite footage of the Bifrost storm on a monitor. "What the hell was that?" Phill asked.
"I don't know. We got massive energy readings out of nowhere, then they just disappeared. Fifteen miles due northwest," the Techie said.
"Let's go take a look," Phill said.
Desert
Bifrost Landing SiteAmidst the fury of the Bifrost storm, the Warriors Three and Sif dropped to the ground in the New Mexico desert. They clamber to their feet as the Bifrost quickly recedes, the hole in the sky closed up behind it. The Bifrost runes covered the desert sand around them. "They must have landed nearby. It's time to put our tracking skills to work. Spread out. Check the sand for indentations of Thor & Triston's boot prints," Volstagg said.
"The winds would have blown them away by now. We should look for signs of a campfire," Fandral said.
"Or we could just start there," Sif said before she pointed behind them to the town of Puente Antiguo in the distance, the only visible sign of civilization, and to Hogun, who had already started to walk towards it. Volstagg and Fandral traded looks, their egos bruised.
"It's worth a look, I suppose," Fandral said then the party tromped towards the town.
Puente Antiguo
Main StreetTownsfolk stared in wonder at the Warriors Three and Sif as they strolled down the streets in all their Asgardian splendor.
A boy hit a baseball, which rolled under a parked car. He ran to retrieve it, but he couldn't reach it. Suddenly, the side of the car rose into the air. The boy looked over, his mouth dropped open at what he saw. Volstagg easily held the car up with one hand then he picked up the boy's ball, before he dropped the car. He handed the ball back to the boy, tousling his hair. "There you go, lad!" Volstagg exclaimed and the boy just stared at him as the Asgardians headed off. "Is it just me, or does Earth look a little different to you?"
"It has been a thousand years," Sif said.
"Things change so fast here. You leave for a millennium, and it's like the whole neighborhood's gone," Volstagg said then he sniffed something. "Perhaps we should split up."
