~ten years after Taehyung left~
Y/n's POV

I woke up naked in bed next to my roommate, Seokjin.

Seokjin and I met for the first time when we both moved into this small apartment a year ago.
We didn't know each other when we moved in, but I'm glad we met.
Well, I'm not really sure how to define my relationship with Seokjin, but I don't see him as a lover, I see him more like my best friend.
We use each other for one night stands, but that was never something serious, and probably never will be.
It's not even awkward afterwards, we just act like everything is normal.

It was Saturday morning when I woke up.
I dressed up, washed my face, brushed my teeth and then went to eat something.
I opened the fridge, it was almost empty.
I sighed.

"Jinnnn we need to go to the supermarket and buy food ASAP " I yelled as I grabbed a bowl and cereal, calling Seokjin by his nickname, "Jin".
Jin and I had to live like this for a whole year. We're broke, and try to save money as much as we can considering the fact that we have to pay for the rent and other more things.
My father offers me money all the time, but I always reject his offer. Why? I'm 27 years old, a grown woman who needs to be independent and learn how to be ready for the real world.
I hate it when he wants me to take the money as if i need to be saved. And I get that he wants to help, but I need to take care of these things on my own.

I put some cereal in the bowl and poured the milk while sitting next to my computer at the table.
I opened my computer to see if I got an email back from my client.
You're probably asking yourself what I'm talking about, right?
Well, I work as an artist and try to sell my drawings, but at that moment, nothing seemed to work. I studied in a university, my parents expected me to work hard and join the business world like them, but I didn't get interested in any of the subjects. Meanwhile, I developed kind of love to painting.

It became a habit, I came home everyday after uni and started drawing whatever came up to my mind, whether it was a way to pour out my feelings, something that I saw that day or just something I creatively came up with.
Drawing became my passion and something that I completely adored doing.
As time passed I got better and better, and it began being a big part of my life.
Later on i decided that it's something I want to pursue in the future.
Nowadays, I'm trying my best to sell my paintings as much as I can and make my dream come true, but it's really hard.
I work and draw in a small place in the middle of the city, that's where people come to see and observe my paintings. I never sold any of my drawings, but last week one man stopped by my workshop and got interested in my art.
He told me he wants to buy one of my paintings and gave me his email so we can communicate.
When I got back to my apartment that day, I emailed him right away, but he hasn't responded in a week now.

Jin woke up a few minutes after I called him.
I was still sitting in front of my computer in a hope to get an email back from the client.

"Did he respond back?" Seokjin said with his tired tone and messy hair while yawning.
"Not yet." You replied as jin opened the fridge as well.
"Damn. So much food in here" Jin said sarcastically and started drinking the milk from the carton.

"Ugh... what is taking him so long..." I thought to myself, i couldn't wait to sell my painting for the first time.
Suddenly, I got an email. Without even checking who sent it, I jumped.
"OH MY GOD" I said, my heart was beating fast.
"He answered?" Jin immediately got interested to see why you were so excited.
I took a look again, and then my happiness completely faded away.
"Shit... it's not him... it's..." I said and clicked on the email, checking to see who that was.
It felt like my heart fell to the ground when I saw that the email that was sent to me was actually from the boarding school.
After ten years, what makes them suddenly send me an email?
