It was my first time back to South Korea after 5 years to visit my dad and take my sister back to Cornelia. She was finally old enough to travel now according to our dad and she wanted to go to the same art school as me. The mistake I made was taking Lia with to visit her boyfriend who lived not that far from where my dad lives. But it seemed so far when she back inside the car smelling of weed. The scent burned my nose going up to my eyes making close them for a moment too long causing me to swerving the car a little bit.

"Why?" She just looked at me and smiled I wanted to cry she lived in Korea longer than me and knows the laws. Drugs are illegal at anytime or anyplace, I didn't realize the blue lights behind me until a tear fell. I pulled over and sat up straight while Lia tried hiding in the back which was easy since it was pitch black outside.

"Excuse ma'am do you know why I pulled you over?" He says while pointing his flashlight around the car. Causing him to lean into the car and realize. "Ma'am I need you to step out of the car." I got out without hesitation Lia already had a criminal record because of her boyfriend stealing, smoking, etc. I didn't want her to get in trouble but I regretted when I felt the cold metal tighten around my wrists. I looked inside my car and she was gone leaving my door open he places me in the back of his car and locks up my car putting my keys in his pocket.

I silently cried the whole way to the station. "You're not getting booked unless you don't have any family we can call or if your record isn't used." I nodded and continued to play with my hands in shame. They called my dad and he was mad at first til' I looked into his eyes. Yuna sat in the car and stared at me with her big eyes "Unnie" she mouthed and smiled shyly. I cuddled with her that night we never let go of each other for the next two days after that.

That was a week ago now we're back in Cornelia and Lia been avoiding me when it should be the other way around. But how to avoid someone you love deeply.
