I'm a sophomore at Cornelia Street Junior High average grades and an average soccer player. Things always surprise me when it comes to this place being offered to become the future captain when Somi graduates. Having secret admirers from guys and girls being ignored by a person who should begging for forgiveness. I'm not the one going around tell everyone that I was almost got arrested because of my lovesick friend. Yuna was trying out for the volleyball team and told the whole team and it spread like wildfire after that.

The lunch bell rings and I head to my next class I'll never eat school lunch because I'm never the one who spends my money on it. Lia every morning 'sneaks' into my backpack to spend the money how she likes even though her family is richer than mine. I realized after freshman year she was the one taking my money so I purposely leave my first pocket open for her to take it without asking during home room. A pale girl runs into the classroom and sits next to me smiling like there's no tomorrow. "I have amazing news for you." She starts poking my shoulder repeatedly I just shrug and look at her. "I got you a tryout spot for JYP's soccer unit." "Excuse me?" She shrugs as if she didn't just give me a reason to marry her. "Chaeryeong, thank you so much."

I start to bury my face into her neck then she sends chills down my spine by continuing to talk right next to my ear. "I also got some volleyball players some spots as well some of your teammates there's a planned announcement that will tomorrow morning at 10:35 a.m." Her sas crawls out at the end of her sentence her being cocky with the skills of persuasion she learned to get her spot as President. "I'll no doubt be here by 7 if I'm not file a missing person report and point all signs to Yuna or Yeji." Her laugh was cut by a grey haired girl standing at the door of the classroom with a pout a on her face causing her cheeks to puff. "Why so mean huh?" She stomps all the way up to me like a child. "Just cause we're not in Korea doesn't mean you have to disrespect me." "That's exacty what that means ,Yeji baby."

Her whine gets covered by the bell and she throws herself in the seat in front of us. I glance into the hallway for a quick second but that one second killed me. Lia walks out of the janitors' closet with a guy with messed up uniforms and messy hair.
