Chapter 40- Interviews

Lisa's P.O.V

The day came where I was scheduled to have my interview with the police. I need to give a statement and answer some questions. Michael had called the police on Calum and had explained that I wasn't in a good state at the time. They then told him to bring me in today at 11AM. So that's where we are now. On our way to the police station. Luke and Ashton were looking after Sammie, James and Jax. I had spent ages standing there showing them how hinges work and what to do in certain situations. Luckily Michael dragged me out of there or I wouldn't have left. This is the first time I've gone out since their birth without them. I am so nervous about this. I'm not worried about the triplets for once, I know their in good hands, but there is something about the police station or police in general that makes my skin crawl. We pulled up at the local cop shop and walked in, hand in hand.
'I scheduled a interview for my girlfriend, Lisa Hemmings.' Michael said to the short red head behind the desk.
'Follow me' she told us, walking down a corridor to our right before opening a door to a plain, white painted room. Two chairs were set up on either side or a horizontally positioned table.
'Take a seat. Constable Evans will be with you in a moment.'
I waited for about 5 mins before a Middle aged man walked in and sat on the other chair opposite me.
'Hi. I'm Constable Evans,' he shook my hand ' Could I please ask this young gentleman to leave the room while I conduct this interview.' He continued, gesturing to Michael.
I turned and gave Michael a nod, signalling I'd be fine. He nodded back and came and gave me a kiss on the forehead before leaving the room to wait outside. Another officer came inside, this time a female and stood by the door. Constable Evans set up the camera that was going to record the whole thing, and spread his papers across the table. He picked up his pen and gave it to me. He asked me to write my statement. I finished and gave it to him. He placed it under his many papers sprawled out on the table. Then he begun with the questions.
'Please tell me what happened the day you were sexually assaulted by Mr Hood.'
'I was in my house and I went to the kitchen to get food cuz I was hungry and that's when I saw him there in the kitchen.'
'You saw who?'
'Calum. Calum Hood.' I said with tears in my eyes.
'Please, go on.'
'I tried to sneak away but the floorboards creaked and he turned around and said your mine now sugar pie. Then he pushed me against the wall and started kissing down my neck while I was screaming and crying. I screamed my boyfriends name, Michael, and he came down stairs and pushed him off me, punched him and told him to leave. Calum didn't want to leave, saying he owned a quarter of the place and that my kids and I didn't own any of it and were still staying there. Michael told him we were getting our own house soon and to leave or we'll get a restraining order on him. He said there's no 5SOS without him, which is the band he, my brother, my boyfriend and my best friend are in. Michael told him he has a cousin who can replace him and Calum just said whatever and left.'
'What day was this?'
'The 28th of November.'
'Has Mr Hood returned to your shared house since this incident.'
'No.'
'Is this the first time Mr Hood has assaulted you.'
'No.'
'When was the other time?'
'The night before my boyfriends birthday and the birth of our triplets. The 19th of November.'
'Our?'
'Michael and I.'
'Could you please tell me what happened on the 19th of November at the time of the incident.'
'In the late afternoon I decided to talk to Calum cuz he had been acting off with me since I was at the hospital for Braxton Hicks. I asked him what was going on and he blew up on me about, something along the lines of I chose Michael over him and how he thinks he's better for me than Michael. He called me blind, an idiot and self-centred saying I took his best friend away from him. I then yelled back at him, defending myself and Michael. I explained how I loved Michael and I don't love him and how Michael will be a great role model. I then made my way to the back door to go back inside to the boys to cool off but he told me not to walk away. He came up from behind me and kissed me and I tried to push him off me but I wasn't strong enough so he grabbed the back of my head and pulled me closer. He stuck his tongue in my mouth and I wasn't strong enough to be able to pull away so I resulted to screaming, well attempting to. I kept trying to push him off me when he pushed me up against the back wall of the house and started pulling my shirt up. I started banging on the back door which was next to me. I was crying so much. I thought he was going to rape me. Ashton came through the back door I was banging on with Luke and Michael. Ashton punched Calum until he got off of me. After that I went into labour and went to the hospital.' I explained in detail.
'Did Mr Hood ever try to approach you between the times of the two incidents you have raised today?'
'Yes. He came to the hospital the day I was scheduled to leave which was 8 days after the first event.'
'Could you tell us in as much detail as possible what happened at this time.'
'I was breast feeding Jaxon when Calum walked in. I was petrified. Michael ran in and stood in front of him. When he questioned what he was doing here he said he was here to apologise. I told him I didn't want to talk and I'd see him in court if he wanted to talk. He claimed he wasn't in the right mindset when he tried to rape me. He admitted to being on drugs but said he was better now. He also mentioned he was heavily addicted and the money drove him. The media apparently contacted him saying they'd pay him if I was in a relationship with him. He told me he didn't know what he was doing at the time. I think that's it.'
'Was this all of the times you have had a problem with Mr Hood.'
'Yes.'
'Could you tell me the names of any people who may have witnessed any of these events?'
'Ashton Irwin, Luke Hemmings and Michael Clifford.'
'What is your relationship with these people?'
'Ashton is my good friend, Luke is my brother and Michael is my boyfriend.'
'We will get Mr Irwin, Mr Hemmings, Mr Clifford and Mr Hood in for questioning. We will contact you if any more details become available on court dates, etc. Thank you for your time. You are free to leave.'
I stood up and shook his hand before exiting the interview room. I found Michael quickly, leaning against the wall, playing flappy bird.
'Hey. How'd it go?' He asked
'Good. They are going to call you, Calum, Luke and Ashton for an interview cuz they witnessed it all.'
'Whatever it takes babe, I'll do it.' He kissed my cheek and we went back home to our triplets.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Sorry for the boring chapter but I had to put it in to go along with the next couple of chapters before the end. I think there is only about 5 chapter ka left maybe more.
