'Cause I'm just all alone

Sitting at home

And you should stay

If you don't mind

I'll be okay

If you stay

'Cause you should stay

If you don't mind

"I should probably go," Mark said sadly, looking at the floor whilst wrapping his arms around his waist. "I don't know where though..."

They were sitting on Haechan's dull grey couch, absorbing the situation that had just occurred. The sun was past setting, giving dark but not-quite-night lighting in the room. With the white walls, white floors, and grey carpet, the room was very boring. However, Haechan wasn't bored at all, because Mark was there, adding bright color to his monotone life.

The thing is, Haechan didn't want to be alone. Of course, he knew that it would be terrible for Mark to go back home after the recent events, but he had more selfish reasons to keep Mark. At least, that's what he thought he was, selfish. He didn't want to be alone again, he wanted Mark to stay so bad. Being with himself and his thoughts would be too much, and he needed someone to distract him from himself.

"You should stay. I wouldn't mind," Haechan said quickly. He thought he might sound too desperate, but honestly, he was. Mark glanced up with a hopeful look in his eyes.

"Really? You'd be okay with that?" Haechan nodded his head aggressively.

"If you don't mind. We don't have to do anything, and we can just relax. Or we could stay up late, watch movies." Haechan stammered. "Only if you want." He muttered the last part, averting his gaze to his hands and played with his fingers, waiting for a response.

"Okay. I think I would like that." Mark smiled softly, making Haechan's heart squeeze. Remembering the sequence of events that led Mark into his house, Haechan gently took his hands. He gave Mark a reassuring look.

"Everything will be okay. You don't have to worry. We'll figure it out. Together." Haechan lowered his voice, feeling that saying it normally would be too loud. He felt terrible. Mark had nowhere to go, he was forced out of his house. He didn't want Mark to stay anywhere else than with him. For multiple reasons, but mostly because if Mark was here, Haechan wouldn't have to be alone. And he wanted that, so, so, so much.

Mark gave a sad smile in return.

"I hope so."
