Alastor awoke to find Angel still resting on top of him. The deer smiled, glad the wonderful night hadn't been a dream. From the lack of noise, Alastor determined he had woken up before everyone else.
Careful not to stir the sleeping spider, Alastor managed to lift Angel off of him long enough to get off of the couch. The deer gazed at the sleeping spider a moment longer, then took of his jacket. He draped it over the spider, hoping it would keep him warm.
"I should probably eat breakfast." Alastor thought as he stepped into the kitchen, only to find his father already pulling a cereal off of a shelf.
"Good morning, son. Did you sleep well?" Furfur started up the coffee pot, side eyeing Alastor as he did do.
"Yes. Did you?" Alastor took a gander at the cereal Furfur had grabbed before getting two bowls and spoons, along with the milk.
"I slept rather well. It was quite amusing when I woke up this morning and found you cuddling with your boyfriend though." Furfur had made coffee for the both of them, and was in the process of handing Alastor his mug when he noticed his son's red face.
"Oh son, don't bother denying it. I'm happy to see you have someone." Alastor took his cup from his father. Furfur grabbed his cereal bowl and went to the dinning table, Alastor not far behind.
"Well, we haven't really talked about having a relationship like that." Alastor spoke the truth. He and Angel Dust couldn't really talk much anyway, they had made out and cuddled most of the night.
"Well it's quite obvious you both have feelings for each other, so why don't you just ask him?" Furfur chewed a slow bite of cereal as he watched his son's face redden again. Alastor avoided his father's eyes as he took a slow sip of his coffee.
"You're scared aren't you?" Furfur couldn't help but chuckle as Alastor did a spot take into his mug.
"Scared?" Alastor prayed, actually prayed, that his voice didn't sound as pathetic as he thought, "Why would I be scared?" Unlike with others, Alastor didn't try to keep up a facade around his father when it came to his emotions. Not like it would work anyway, Furfur actually knew his son pretty well.
"Rejection." Furfur suggested, "Or fear of letting the spider to close to you. You never were the type to let people in, except with your mother that is." At the mention of the woman both of them had loved so dearly, a quite, remorseful silence fell between them.
"You know Al, she'd want you to be happy." The larger deer demon managed a weak smile, hoping he didn't seem to sad.
"I know." Alastor looked down at his food, lost in his own thoughts.
"I want you to be happy too." Furfur placed a hand on Alastor's shoulder, causing his son to look at him with questioning eyes.
"Do you really think I should?" That way Alastor asked was the same as when he was a child, curious about something he had no knowledge of.
"I really do." Furfur's hand fell away. The Radio Demon rubbed his forehead with his hand for a moment, really thinking about his options.
"What are y'all talking about?" Came a voice from the across the table. Both deers looked up to see Angel standing before them, holding Alastor's jackets securely around his shoulders.
"N-nothing important!" Alastor got up quickly and pulled the chair next to him out for Angel, "You must be hungry my dear! Let me get you something to eat." As soon as the spider was seated, Alastor took off to the kitchen.
"Thanks Al." Angel hopes the deer could hear him. He appeared in better condition then the night before, but Alastor didn't want to take any chances.
When Alastor cane back with coffee and cereal for Angel, his father gave him a look. The look said to ask a certain spider something. Alastor stared at his father and then nodded to the door. Furfur got the hint and stood up.
"Well I'll see you two later, I have business I need to attend to." With just a wink as he passed his son, Furfur left.
"Angel," Alastor sat down after making sure his father wasn't lurking our of sight, "there was something I want to ask you."
"Yeah?" Angel spoke through a mouthful of cereal. He was actually pretty hungry.
"Well, once you're back to full health, do you want to...go on a date with me?" An abrupt silence followed the question as Angel swallowed his food. He stared at Alastor for a moment, trying to see if he was joking.
"Haven't we already been on one?" Angel mentally face palmed. Why did he say that!? He wanted to go out with Alastor so badly.
"That wasn't an official date. I want to take you on an official date." The deer demon fumbled with his hands under the table. He was so nervous that his palms were sweaty.
"And why do ya wanna take me out Al?" Angel did what he usually did when he felt nervous, he resorted to confident flirting.
"To win your affections." Alastor had thought putting it straight would be the smart way to go, now he regretted being able to speak.
"Ya really are clueless aren't ya?" Angel chuckled as he stood from his chair. He placed a hand under Alastor's chin and turned the deer's head to face him.
"Ya already got my affection ya smelly old deer." Angel smiled at the dawning surprise on Alastor's face.
"You mean-"
"Yep. I love ya Bambi." Angel leaned forward and kissed Alastor. He could feel the deer smile into the kiss as he brought his arms around the spider. Soon Angel Dust was sitting in his lap, and they were back at having another make our session. They were so lost in each other that they didn't notice the audience behind them.
"Wow you two have no decency do you?" Cane the voice of Husk from behind them. The pair broke apart quickly, but Angel soon started trying to hide his amusement at the sight of Alastor's tomato like face.
"Um guys," Angel looked at Charlie, Vaggie, Husk, and Nifty, who appeared a little more disheveled then usual, "could ya go back into the hall for a minute? I don't think Al can move with you standing there." Thankfully, they all stepped back into the hallway.
As soon as both deer and spider were out if the chair, Alastor took the opportunity to learn in and whisper into Angel's ear, "I love you too, Cher." Right after he called everyone back in, leaving Angel Dust a little stunned.
"So are you two.." Charlie pointed between Angel and Alastor, her question hanging in the air.
"Yes." Angel Dust snapped out if his gaze and responded, "Yes we are."
