Now that Yangyang and I are now married, we can go on our honeymoon. I don't know where our relationship will go from here, but I know it'll be so much fun. We return to the hotel for the night. Everyone who came from The States will be going home tonight, the rest who came from South Korea will be going home tomorrow. As for Yangyang's family, they already returned home after the party ended. Yangyang and I spent the night at our hotel "celebrating" if you catch my drift. I won't be writing in any details for those innocent ones.
The next day, I told Yangyang all about how I had stayed up, planning our honeymoon which we decided to be in Thailand. We will first go to Bangkok, then explore out from there. We are so excited to be going on our adventurous honeymoon in Thailand.
*Honeymoon in Thailand*
Yangyang and I get on a plane to Bangkok, Thailand. With help from Ten, we got advice on the places we should visit. He gave us so many ideas and I made sure to write all of them down. Thailand is such a beautiful country with countless of beaches and islands. Hearing the many places we could go from Ten, it inspired me so much. That urge to go out and travel again.Once arriving in Bangkok, we go to our hotel. We will spend this day exploring the city. I would really like to try the street foods they serve around here. That's the first thing I like to do when I travel, going around and trying the food. Yangyang and I walk the streets of Bangkok, stopping at various vendors selling delicious foods. I avoided food that had pork or any animal that I don't eat, personally. Everything else was *chef's kiss* so good.
While we're walking around, a few fans of WayV stop us in the street. Yangyang doesn't mind taking photos with fans, but he asks that he respect us as we are on our honeymoon. Good thing the fans are very respectful and leave us to enjoy our honeymoon after taking a few photos. Aww, that's so lovely. I knew that WayV would have some fans from Thailand because Ten is from here, but not as many as I thought we would meet today. There were a lot of people.
Around the evening, we go to a restaurant to have some dinner. We really wanted to dive into Thai culture, so we went to a Thai restaurant that Ten recommended to us. We are seated at the table, then take a look at the menu. Oh, all this food looks so good. I see why Ten had recommended it now. I choose Pad Thai because I am curious how the taste differs from in South Korea and America. It is said that the same food tastes different in other countries. I think it depends on where they source the ingredients. Yangyang orders himself Pad Krapow. We get our food and dig in right away. I already love this. Thai food has a little bit of kick to it because it has chillies, but after living in South Korea, my spice tolerance has improved.
We finish eating, then head back to our hotel. Now that we all filled up with delicious Thai food, I'm feeling sleepy. It is either all the food I ate today, or the jet leg. It could be a combination of both. Either way, I'm calling that first real day in Thailand a success. I can't wait to explore more of this beautiful, incredible country. Yangyang cuddles close to me, telling me how much he enjoyed our day in Bangkok. He told me he's very excited for what else I have possibly have planned.
That next day, I have planned a really exciting activity. I want to face one of my fears, the fear of heights, and go zip-lining across the Thai forest. I found a really cool place where we could go zip-lining. I found this place while I was browsing the internet for things to do in Thailand. I also planned for us to go ride elephants, but first this cool zip-lining trip. We arrive to the location where we'll be zip-lining. We get rigged up in the harness, with go-pros strapped to our helmets. We will be filming this, editing it together, and posting it to the YouTube channel that Yangyang and I created. We wanted to vlog our lives because we believe people will enjoy it. Especially with the crazy life that Yangyang has.
Once we're all strapped into the zip-line, they send us on our way. We zip down, in what feels like a million miles an hour. I look around, enjoying how amazing it is here. Yangyang is smiling the whole way down. He gets to the platform before me. I land on the platform shortly after him.
"Wow, wasn't that so cool?" Yangyang asked.
"Yeah, it was scary at first, but the view distracted me." I said.
"I'm proud of you, babe." Yangyang said.
"Thank you." I said.
"Ready, let's take a picture. 3, 2, 1." The zip-line guide said.
Yangyang and I pose for the photo.
"Very cute." The zip-line guide said.
"Thanks for showing us here." I said.
"You're welcome, please come again." The zip-line guide said.We leave the zip-line place to head out to the next activity. We'll be riding elephants through White Elephant Tour & Transport. This is one of the things I have most been anticipating. I can reconnect with my childhood because when I was little, I rode an elephant like once from what I can remember. The rest of the times, it was a horse. The only downside is that we had to wake up really early in order to do this elephant tour. It takes up most of the day, only arriving back to the hotel at 6pm. It's all worth it though.
