Sakura stood there, pressed against Kakashi, her lips still tingling from their kiss. The sensation was electrifying, every part of her body seemed to be vibrating in response. Kakashi, too, was trembling slightly, unable to maintain his usual calm. His hands were steady on her hips, holding her close as if to ground himself.
As Sakura reluctantly pulled away, she realized she had never seen Kakashi's face. His lips had been so sweet, and she could only imagine what he looked like beneath his mask. Desperate for air, she took a shallow breath. Kakashi's forehead rested against hers, both of them breathing heavily. After a moment, he cleared his throat and replaced his mask, his head still pressed lightly to hers.
"Maybe that was too forward of me..." Kakashi murmured, his voice laced with regret.
Sakura stood still, her heart racing. "Well, I—I mean, it was nice," she stammered, struggling to find the right words. She wanted to tell him how much she enjoyed it, how she wanted more. Instead, she found herself gripping his shirt tightly, causing him to take her hand gently in his. There was a long, heavy pause. Kakashi's breath hitched, and he stepped back, his expression conflicted.
"This was a mistake. I'm sorry, Sakura. Let me take you home safely."
Sakura felt a pang of disappointment. To her, it hadn't been a mistake. If anything, it was the best thing that had happened to her in a long time. She coughed awkwardly, trying to distract herself from the scent that still clung to her senses. "Do you know where I live?" she asked, trying to shift the focus.
"Hmm, I suppose I don't. Not really," Kakashi admitted.
Sakura gave him her address, and they began the walk to her home. The journey was mostly in silence, both of them lost in their thoughts. Sakura's mind was consumed with questions—why did Kakashi think it was a mistake? Was it because he was Hokage? Or was it her age and their past relationship as teacher and student?
"Uhm, Kakashi... why do you think that was a mistake?" she finally asked, her anxiety palpable.
Kakashi stopped walking, his gaze piercing as he looked at her. "Well, what do you think it was?" he countered.
Sakura was caught off guard, her cheeks flushing red. "I, uh, think—I liked it. A lot," she confessed, her voice barely above a whisper.
Kakashi's eyes widened slightly, taken aback by her honest response. "Then I suppose it wasn't a mistake. I enjoyed it as well," he admitted, running a hand through his hair nervously.
Sakura felt as though she'd been punched in the chest. Kakashi liked it too? "So, what does this mean?" she asked, her voice trembling with hope and fear.
"Do you want the vague answer or the blunt one?" Kakashi asked, trying to gauge her reaction.
Sakura, determined not to play games, answered, "Blunt. Please."
Kakashi took a deep breath. "The blunt answer is that I want to claim you. Not just for the obvious reasons, but for reasons I can't fully explain," he said, his voice tinged with a mix of desire and uncertainty.
Sakura's heart skipped a beat. Kakashi wanted to claim her? "So... claim me," she said without hesitation. Her heart was pounding so loudly she could barely hear her own words. She wasn't sure how claiming worked, but she wanted whatever it entailed.
"It's not that simple, Sakura. It's more complicated than just saying it," Kakashi replied, his expression serious.
Sakura blushed, fully aware that claiming wasn't a simple matter. "How does it happen?" she asked, her voice small and embarrassed.
Kakashi chuckled softly, rubbing the back of his neck. "Well... I'd have to show you that if the time comes," he said, his eyes softening.
When they arrived at Sakura's house, Kakashi took her hand and kissed it gently. "See you soon, sweet Sakura," he said, his tone warm and sincere.
Sakura was flustered but filled with a sense of anticipation. Kakashi's kindness and the way he had treated her made her heart flutter. As she lay in bed that night, she couldn't shake the thoughts of him. The kiss, his scent, and the way he felt against her—all of it replayed in her mind. She wanted him more than ever, but she was unsure how the claiming process would work or what it truly meant.
She wondered about the other reasons Kakashi mentioned, and what they might entail. Despite the uncertainty, she knew she wanted him—Kakashi was a prime Alpha, and the idea of being claimed by him made her heart race. The thought of being his first Omega, if that was indeed the case, sent a thrill through her. She lay awake for hours, her mind consumed with thoughts of Kakashi, unable to escape the pull of her desires. Eventually, she drifted off to sleep, hoping for dreams of him and the future they might share.
