Chap 1

Just like every boring beginning it started on a Monday ...no I am kidding...it was actually a Friday cause nothing really exciting starts on Mondays well expect for school but that's not really interesting...

So! Friday, somewhere in the quiet streets of Busan, a fluff 3 ft tall walking-ball made his first entrance in a small bright kindergarten. He was all swollen inside what looked like 5 layers of clothes plus a red scarf covering half of his face ,only leaving space to the upper part of two bread cheeks and to two beautiful double eyelid shy eyes .
Yet to two bunny big doe eyes nothing felt more shining than this mysterious little boy stares. Something in the way he held himself in the way he was hugging his book, keeping it close, like it was the most important thing in his life, felt so mesmerizing so new to the latter.
To that cute little boy, laying eyes on him felt like discovering a new world.
He , who was barely old enough to first conquer the word 'world', still too young to really understand what it means, was so innocently sure that , that's what exactly he was looking at ...

And of course as any 5 year old kid , he points at the freshly arrived fluff ball and excitedly shouts just before flashing the widest of smiles : 'The world!'
However a bit older to actually know that the world can not be assimilated to a young boy , the concerned cheeks turn as bright red as his pretty scarf proving his shyness yet again with hiding behind the leg of his mother carefully sticking his head when the beautiful woman concerned asks him about his reasoning.
Crouching down to his level, one hand holding his tiny one and the other delicately stroking his brown locks she asks gently : "hey...sweetie... Tell mommy what's bothering you?" she tilts her head when the pretty boy doesn't respond then continues while motionly lifting his chin : "is it because it's your first day?"

Knowing how timid and reserved her son was, already showing signs of introversion from his young ages , receiving a small nod to her question was never a surprise, quite the opposite, it only made her flash her reassuring smile.
You know, that type of warmth-radiating smile only a mom can make. A small grin that makes you instantly feel so loved and adored simply cherished. And that is exactly how our little fulff ball felt, immediately lifting a bit of his worries away...
"Tae honey... Just be you and everyone will love you... "
"I know I do" she added just before planting a kiss on his cheek and finally standing up.

Left alone tae couldn't tear his eyes from his precious book completely ditching the usual "nap time" to sit in a corner and contemplate his beautiful story. Not even glancing at the sweet teacher when she nicely approached him:"taetae... Baby... It's time to sleep... Why don't you leave that book for later hmm?"
"no... I... I don't want to" he pronounced in a tiny voice refusing any interaction with both the teacher and the kids, only trusting the things he know and love meaning that "little prince" tale.
A narrative he never leaves without basically his favorite.
That book to him was like the plushie kids would hang around everywhere, to him that book was everything : his best brag, his safe place, his best friend...
So the mere suggestion of leaving it was outraging to him.
Little did he know that two almond eyes were still following him from the end of the room in fact they have never left his side finding him to interesting to simply ignore.
And as the pure heart that he is, realizing how uncomfortable little tae was with the teacher's insistence our previous bunny like boy,  jumped right in cutely stumbling while getting up before approaching the scene and excitedly saying : "I wanna read tooo!"

"but sweetie it's nap time... You love nap time!" answered their teacher to his interference just before adding : "and you don't even have a book..."
"it's okay Tete will read it for me" he automatically responded, suddenly gripping tae's free hand and fully exposing his bunny smile innocently shutting any possible answer from his teacher whom seeing how adorable and precious the two boys were, already creating a bond, decided to let them be, secretly hoping tae would feel much more at ease next to someone his age.

And O boi, how right was she!?

Cause unexpectedly the shy, usually reserved tae didn't push little innocent heart's hand away only weirdly stared at him trying to comprehend why someone as beautiful would want to stay with him even more get interested in his book: something he holds dear.

So imagine Taetae's surprise the second he heard a small voice sulking : "tete come on... let's read! let's read! let's read!"
Eyes wide the concerned could only blabber while sitting down adopting the pose of his expectant vis-a-vis :
"it's... Taehyung..."
"hmm... NO! tete is better" he blissfully shouted filling all the room with his joy, showing the extent of his outgoing and bubbly personality.
Just before straightening his back composing himself in the most serious way a 5 year old kid knows, meaning sitting on his knees, extending a hand and saying :
"hi tete... I'm jungkook... Let's be friends! "

And it's There, at that exact moment, the instant little tae reached little koo's tiny hand in a promise to be friends that their beautiful ride starts.
