Old Memories

The next morning, Hailey was awake going through her purse, wrapped in her blanket. Veronica was still fast asleep. As Hailey got to the bottom of her purse, she found a pill bottle and a bunch of pictures of her, Veronica, Heather Chandler and Heather Duke. Hailey and Veronica didn’t seem as happy as the other two. Hailey shrugged it off.
“It’s over, right?”
She asked herself softly before getting up and throwing the pill bottle in the garbage. She sat back down and tried waking Veronica up.
“Ronnie, Ronnie wake up...” 
She whispered softly. No luck.
“I’ll let you sleep then.”
She mumbled as the phone rang. She got up to get it. It was Heather D. “Hey.” Hailey said.
“Oh, hey Hails.” Duke sighed, her voice seemed broke and as if she was crying.
“What’s wrong?”
Hailey asked knowing something was wrong.
“Yeah sorry, I just really miss Heather. She was the only person I really loved. But she was so selfish and took herself from me.”
Hailey stood there in shock and tried to comprehend what was just said. The two Heathers dated?! Impossible. 
They were enemies, as everyone thought by what was shown. Since when did the HBIC have feelings for the one Heather she seemed to always been yelling at. Hailey stood there for a solid 20 seconds trying to gather her thoughts. Veronica woke up in a cold sweat, another nightmare
Normal?
Not really.
“Babe?!”
She called out, looking around frantically for Hailey. Hailey heard her and ran to her side, realizing what had happened. “It's okay I’m here, right here.”
 She said softly. For a solid 30 minutes, Hailey comforted Veronica.
“I love you...”
Veronica whispered softly after she had relaxed.
“I... I love you too Ronnie...”
Hailey whispered smiling softly
