"are you sure she won't find out about this?" jisung asked nervously, fidgeting with his fingers as he walked with soojin down the empty hall. "of course." she smiled, skipping ahead of the boy and smiling over her shoulder.
"she'll never find out, trust me i know exactly how to keep it from- NINA RENJUN!" the girl interrupted her own sentence, almost having run into the two annoyed looking cousins.
"keep what from who?" nina cocked an eyebrow, eyeing her best friend before eyeing her boyfriend. "u-um- s-see what she m-meant w-was." "cut the bullshit park. what have you been doing with my girlfriend?" renjun spat, grabbing a scared looking jisung by his collar while his eyes flashed deep red.
"renjun-" "let him be." nina rolled her eyes at soojin who had a confused face.
"n-nothing i swear r-r-renjun!" jisung stuttered out, placing his hands in the air as a surrender. "renjun let him the fuck down. and you, put your wings away before someone walks out here." soojin hissed, pointing to both of the cousins.
"ridiculous." she sighed, pulling jisung behind her once renjun let him go. "now i know how bad this may seem, especially seeing how uh.. angry you guys look." the girl chuckled, looking in between the two cousins who scoffed, crossing their arms.
"but it's not what you think. we cant exactly tell you what we're doing... as bad as it sounds but i promise it's not what you think!" soojin trailed off, knowing she choose the exact wrong words to play that out.
instead of an answer, renjun shook his head and let out a humorless chuckle, quickly walking away from the three. soojin was about to follow him but instead she turned to nina with an apologetic face.
"please don't kill him. i promise you'll find out soon." she placed an arm on the demon girls before sprinting towards her boyfriend who was already all the way down the hall.
"renjun!" she called out. but no avail from the boy.
"huang renjun!" after a few tries he finally stopped, harshly turning to his girlfriend. "what?"
soojin let out a puff of air. "jeez you're fast." she breathed out, regaining her posture and walking in front of the vampire boy.
"e-excuse me. sorry to interrupt but i'm a bit lost..." a small voice spoke up before soojin could start to explain to the boy what was happening. the couple turned to see two very unfamiliar kids that looked around their age standing there with awkward smiles.
"i'm sungchan and that's shotaro. we're both new and we were wondering could you possibly um direct us to mr. jeons class?" the boy, sungchan, asked politely, pulling his shy friend behind him.
"oh yeah! it's down that hall and to the left. i'm the teachers assistant for his class so i guess i'll be seeing you two around!" soojin answered with a smile, pointing in the direction of the class. "you'll love it here, i'm jinkyong or soojin, either one." she beamed, waving goodbye to the boys who bowed at her before walking off.
turning back to renjun, she realized he'd walked off yet again.
"fucks sake."
