Pine trees and cedar wood veil your sense of smell with subtle earth tones of soil peeking through. The air is humid and sweat clings to your skin, but you don't care - you always feel most alive in the beautiful elements of nature. You hear birdsong and drops of rain falling from leaves as a result of the early morning rain, but they can't drown out the grumbles coming from Kageyama behind you.

"Remind me why I let you drag me out here again?" You tell him to shush and be more open minded in order to find things he'd enjoy, to which you hear a muttered boke as a response. You light-heartedly throw a stick at his chest and smirk, content with his irritated scowl. You turn back to the path and look up at the leaves, inhaling the fresh breeze. Then, you panic as you're lifted from solid ground, swung over Kageyama's shoulder.

"Who's laughing now?" You feel the ripples of his flexed muscles from underneath his shirt, his arms carrying you with ease. His steps remain even, and it's almost as though he's forgotten he's holding you. Or so you thought, until he changes his position so that your legs wrap around his waist, arms around his neck, looking deeply into the endless dark pools of his irises. He gives you a sly look before placing you gently onto the path. You continue along in a comfortable silence, the sound of hiking boots kicking up soil and leaf litter the only ends to the quiet.

At a resting point, you empty a water bottle, putting a temporary stop to your thirst, and apply a layer of chapstick. You look out at the view from the mountain, taking in the expanse of peace. Curious, your eyes shift over to Kageyama, who is replacing the few empty bottles into the pack. You watch as he lifts his shift to dab away the gleam of sweat that formed across his forehead, and you can't help but glance down at his toned abs. He catches you staring before you can look away, but you pretend you hadn't done anything.

He lets you assume he didn't notice for a bit, and you walk the trail for another several minutes before he takes your hand in his, and without a word, corners you against a large redwood, resting his weight on his hands which keep you in your place. Your face red with warmth from the journey turns even brighter as a wave of flustered attraction pulses through your veins. Kageyama's knee rests against the space of tree in between your legs, and with his chin, he tilts your head up to meet his gaze. He looks from your eyes to your lips, and in an instant, presses his against yours. Moving his hands from the bark and onto your hips, he steps closer to you, so much so that his body is now against yours. You feel his lips, his warmth, his sweat, and his intensity with which he kisses you. Pulling the collar of your shirt down, his lips begin to travel. He leaves love bites from your neck to your chest, blotches of purple skin as cute, sensual marks on the edge of your breasts. Then, he stops, turns, and walks back to the path. A smile creeps into the corners of his mouth.

"Don't get all puppy-eyed on me now. We're almost at the end of the trail. You'll just have to wait to finish what you started later. Or perhaps I'll pleasure you instead, if you beat me to the top." He begins to run, and you sprint to catch up, flashing him a smile as your feet carry you faster than his, and you know you've already won.
