Leo Valdez was having a hard time.

He had never been the best at making friends, which is probably obvious if you looked at his life. He only made two friends at his school, and one of them didn't have a choice. Then he didn't make friends with Frank for ages. And then all his so called friends left him alone.

He really wasn't the best at making friends.

Leo sighed as he sat down and looked at the passing dead people.

"Hey, you're Leo, right?" A blond he recognized as Sam said.

"Y-yeah," Leo nodded. "And I think you're Sam. You helped Magnus with the whole ragnorak Loki Ahh-We're-All-Gonna-Die thing right?

Sam laughed, "yeah. If you don't mind me asking, why did you and the rest of The Elite come here, anyways?"

"There's a war coming, chaos says we need everyone. He says if we don't get the best of the best, we're all doomed. That's why we have Carter, Zia, and Walt. We came to get hopefully some of you. We aren't asking you to put everyone forward, just some people who are willing to help,"

"I'll do it," Sam said immediately.

"Y-you will?" Leo stuttered.

"Yeah, I would kill to hang out with Magnus again. Plus I love the feeling of saving the world. We're we your last stop before camp part water?"

"Camp Half Blood," Leo corrected. "And yeah, but this is great. Oh my boyfriend is going to be so happy when he comes down to earth to see people. Magnus talked about you and Alex and everyone so much you're basically a legend,"

"Wait, did you say boyfriend?" Sam questioned, "you mean you're gay?"

"Uh, yeah. Do you have a problem?" Leo defended himself.

"Not at all! This is great! I always wanted a gay best friend, he could be my wingman you know? This is awsome! I finally have a gay best friend!"

"You're officially my favorite person in this whole place. And my family is here," Leo smiled. "But now that I have you, and the fact that we probably have to get others to help us. Or we could try, I don't know if we need them,"

"I can go help you, maybe they'll listen to me but I honestly have no clue,"

The two of them were off, but not more than seven hours, thirty seven minutes, and sixteen seconds later did they realize nothing was happening.

"Well, I guess you and hopefully Alex will be good. What do you say sam, you ready for Camp 'Part Water'?" Leo asked.

"Shut up,"
