Another Sky

Chapter two

"Oh,you're awake." A boy around his age entered the room with a glass of water in his hands.He had the darkest hair Tsuna had ever seen.Even darker than Hibari-san! and his hair were definitely black. 'Wait,is there anything darker than black?'

His inner monologue about the various types and colours of hair was interrupted by  a hand being waved in front of his eyes.He realised that the boy was right in his face and that his eyes were the bluest he had ever seen.Now that he looked more closely,all his features were intense.A straight sharp nose,a protruding chin and pointy ears.

The boy was looking at him like he was a circus freak and maybe he should stop the inner monologues.

"H-hi" Tsuna's face was probably redder than Gokudera-kun's flames 'Oh cool Tsuna you're just so cool.What an eloquent response.You're the perfect decimo really.'

"Ciaossu" A black blur 'Reborn?' jumped on the boy's left shoulder "I am Reborn the greatest hitman in the world"

At this point Tsuna didn't know whether this was some very elaborate prank or he was actually going crazy.On one hand he was completely sure this was Reborn but on the other, something's wrong. His HI was blaring and he was completely terrified.He felt the same as when he was sent to the future and for the first few minutes,he was lying in his own coffin alone.

His throat was suddenly dry.The boy-whose name he probably should've asked by now- handed him the glass of water and he gulped it down gratefully.

Finally ready to speak,he opened his mouth and bang! The door swung open to reveal another familiar face.

"JUUDAIMEEEEE" Tsuna gasped  Gokudera-kun is here! At least he's not alone.Just like last time Gokudera-kun will help him get out of this place.He started to get up when Gokudera-kun pulled out his (already lit) dynamites and shoved them right in his face.

"What were you trying to do to juudaime teme!" His words were delivered in that same sharp hiss reserved for his juudaime's enemies.But tsuna was the juudaime,wasn't he?He was yanked up by his collar "Which famiglia are you from?! Tell me or I'll blow you sky high and don't think for a second that those puppy eyes will work on me!"
Gokudera-kun's eyes were seconds away from lighting him on fire with the absolute fury in his glare.

"Hayato-kun stop.I was the one who saw him fall out of the sky and it was I who decided to help him." Gokudera-kun pulled away from Tsuna with only a little hesitation and Tsuna couldn't help but be impressed.He was never as efficient or effective when dealing with Gokudera-kun.
The boy-whose name he still didn't know-controlled Gokudera-kun with only a slight furrowing of his brows and a very soft not-really-command.

Gotta admit,this guy's cool.

"My name is Nakamura Rei.This is Reborn-san my tutor and the angry one is GokHayato-kun" He flashed a small teasing smile on his face and Tsuna couldn't help but reciprocate it with a hesitant smile of his own.

"Hello" Tsuna waved and instantly blushed 'oh my god tsuna are you a child? Do 5 minutes away from reborn make you an idiot?' "My name is Sawada Tsunayoshi it's nice to meet yo-"

Before he even finished his sentence,he was staring at the muzzle of Reborn's favourite semi-automatic CZ 75 and he had about 1 second to regret all his life choices.

"Reborn-san what are you doing?" The boy-Rei's face changed instantly from cool to comically horrified and even though he had met some pretty stran-strong characters in his life as the Vongola Decimo,Tsuna was surprised.

"Sawada Lemitsu would have been a direct heir to Nono had he not been the head of CEDEF.For some reason,his wife was unable to conceive and you ended up as the heir because of your affinity to sky flames"
Rei-san's eyes widened and Gokudera-kun took a defensive step in front of his juudaime.

"If Sawada Tsunayoshi is in any way related to Sawada Lemitsu,your candidature as the Decimo will automatically be null and void since you never were a direct heir"

"I am not going to let the one year of training I have given you go to waste."

At this point Tsuna should have been beyond terrified but the mischievious glint in Reborn's eyes was only familiar and comforting.'Rei-san's freaking out though'

Rei looked like he was almost crying(?).His eyes were suspiciously bright and he was moving his arms as if he didn't know whether to stop Reborn from shooting him or stop Gokudera from blowing him into bite-sized little Tsunas.'Maybe it would be better if I helped...'

"Reborn..san please let me explain myself.I promise I won't ask for an inheritance battle!" He hoped his expression looked as sincere as it felt because not wanting to be the Decimo was something he said more than anything else.

If nothing else,at least Rei looked relieved.He flashed Tsuna a wobbly smile which looked more like a grimace than a smile but it's the thought that counts.
"Why are you here then Tsunayoshi-san"
Looking at Rei's relieved face he felt even worse than before.

'Something tells me he'll wish I asked for an inheritance battle instead'
