16. Eye gouge
Amy could hear it crawl over the desk she was hiding under. It's insect like legs clacking against the desk as it moved over it. She put a hand over her mouth to mask her frantic breathing. She had seen what it was capable of. She looked at the body of her friend. He was laying motionless, staring at the ceiling with an eyeless gaze. Just then the desk was ripped out from over her and thrown across the room. She squeezed her eyes shut tight and began running. She got about 3 steps before tripping over something and tumbling to the ground. Out of pure instinct she opened her eyes and glanced back at the creature. It was too late. the moment she lay eyes upon it her mind was already gone. It was so horrifying, so mercilessly scarring that she couldn't bare the idea of possibility laying eyes on it again. He frantically began clawing at her eyes with her nails till blood dripped down her face. It wasn't enough. She stumbled through corridors, feeling her way around until she found a pen on the ground. She immediately clicked it and stabbed it into her left eye and pulled it out with such force that i was ripped clean out. She repeated with the second eyes, pulling it out of its socket and throwing them on the floor beside her. She was finally safe, she though as she heard it scuttling towards her.
