"best friend"

third person's pov —

juyeon was walking with her bestfriend, lee donghyuck. they were inseparable, not until juyeon moved to the states.

"ugh i miss you so much you ugly" he teased her, causing juyeon to roll her eyes.

"i miss you too stupid" they laughed.

"ew you sound like a pig" he teased as he held her hand. juyeon was caught off guard.

haechan saw the red hue spreading at her cheeks.

"why are you blushing?" haechan asked smirking.

"shut up you idiot" she hid her face with her hands, but he stopped her.

"don't cover your face, it's uh- cute" he confessed shyly, causing juyeon to chuckle.

they were walking together hand in hand, giggling, flirting, and teasing each other. when you passed by them you'll think they're a couple.

donghyuck was too busy talking when suddenly juyeon stopped walking.

"oh heeseung hi!" juyeon spotted heeseung.

heeseung looked towards her direction smiling widely to be greeted with her hand in hand with a boy.
his smile suddenly dropped furrowing his eyebrows at the sight.

"hello juyeon" he smiled towards her not even glancing at donghyuck.

"are you here alone?" she asked.

heeseung's eyes are still focused on their intertwined fingers.

"heeseung?" she waved a hand at him

"huh? uh- i- what were you saying?" he asked.

"are you here alone?" she repeatedly asked.

"oh i was with-"

"heeseung! you left me at the-" sunghoon was about to continue but he was surprised that juyeon was there with a boy.

"hi sunghoon" she greeted shyly.

"hi" he replied coldly.

"me and donghyuck are leaving now, bye!" she left with donghyuck hand in hand, the way they looked at each other made sunghoon sick. was he jealous?

"she has a boyfriend? i didn't know juyeon has one" heeseung furrowed his eyebrows.

"she doesn't" sunghoon replied shortly.

"damn i'm jealous, i want to hold her hands too" heeseung pouted resulting sunghoon to mentally roll his eyes.

"who are they?" donghyuck asked glancing at juyeon.

"oh sunghoon's my neighbor and heeseung, well uh- he was the guy that spilled his coffee on me" she chuckled.

"don't even think about replacing me with them" donghyuck pouted furrowing his eyebrows, anxious that she was going to leave him for them.

"you big baby! you're so dumb thinking i'll leave you for anyone. i love you-" me and my big mouth, juyeon thought as she mentally roll her eyes.

"of course you love me! i'm lee donghyuck" donghyuck smirked.

"don't you love me?"

"of course i love you! you're my best friend!"

i genuinely love you, but i can't tell you knowing that this is just one sided.
