juyeon's pov —

i was at work when yongjae called me. i got scolded by my coworkers lmao. if you're wondering what the hell i do for a living, i'm working as a doctor.

i walked outside and answered yongjae's call.

"hello juyeon! i think you should go home immediently!" yongjae, as usual screamed through the phone.

"why are you screaming!" i screamed back

"because it's almost 10 pm!!!" oh god, he's over reacting again.

"what do you mean?! it's still 8"

"ugh why don't you quit your job?"

"are you dumb? how am i supposed to live?" i asked mentally rolling my eyes.

"plus i studied so hard to become a doctor"

"i don't care! you should go home now!" ugh he's getting annoying. as much as i love yongjae sometimes he's just to much to handle.

"yongjae i think you're overreacting—" he cutted me off

"i'm just worried about you" he seems kinda odd to be honest. he isn't acting like he's usual self, except for the scream.

"i- alright fine!" i asked the hospital if i could go home early since i pulled an all-nighter yesterday.

i walked out of the hospital and got in my car. i was so sleepy, i'm drowsing off. i almost hit a person. my job is to save people not to kill them.

i walked out of the car slamming my door.

"hey! are you alright?" i asked the guy. we made eye contact and indeed, he was beautiful. ugh juyeon stop daydreaming and wake up! you almost hit him with your car.

"i'm sorry!" i apologized and bowed

"it's alright! i hope your also okay!" he was so sweet he almost got hit, and he still worries about me. i'm speechless.

"i'm alright!" i reassured him

"i'm sorry again uh.."

"yang jungwon" he smiled and held out his hand.

"uh my juyeon is name- i-i'm sorry! i'm so awkward" i apologized and repeated my introduction

"my name is juyeon"

"see you again juyeon!" he smiled at me. my heart isn't beating, i think it's dead.

"s-sure see you!"

i walked back to my car drived home.
damn the music is good, i don't want to leave the car yet. so i waited for it to finish lol.

when i arrived at my front door something doesn't feel right. so i grabbed my pepper spray.

you never know anything can happen.
