"caught in a lie"

third person's pov —

"hey can i ask you a favor?"

"sure?"

juyeon took a deep breath debating wether if she should ask him.

"can uh- you see- um"

"it's okay juyeon relax, you can tell me anything"

"you see, i have a friend and i practically told him i have a boyfriend, and now i don't know what to do"

it was silent for awhile.

"so what are you trying to say?"

"can you pretend to be my boyfriend?"

"it's okay if you don't want to!"

i knew he would refuse, i shouldn't have asked him. juyeon sighs.

"uh jay it's okay if you don't want-"

"no! i'll go" jay answered immediately.

"really?! oh my god thank you!" juyeon answered cheerfully.

"when is it?"

"now"

"alright i'll be there!"

"thanks again jay! i'll make sure to repay your kindness" juyeon smiled.

"sure! i'll go now, see you soon"

"be safe!"

jay was excited he couldn't believe that juyeon asked him instead of sunghoon.

jay's pov —

i nervously knocked on juyeon's door revealing juyeon in an oversized tshirt with a pair of sweatpants.

she looks so adorable.

"oh my god! you dyed your hair, it looks so good on you!"

"thanks" why am i so awkward?

"thanks again jay for being here"

"it's okay, i have nothing to do anyway"

this is a bit awkward.

"so uh, mind telling me what happened?"

"sure"

she told me the whole story.

"you were the first person that was on my mind-" she cutted her sentence shocked at what she said, i was shocked too.

"oh my god uh-"

"i was the first person on your mind?" i asked too happy at what i heard.

"well yes"

i couldn't hide the smile on my face.
i was about to reply to her but someone knocked on the door.

juyeon opened the door revealing her friend? i assume.

"hi juyeonie" he giggled.

i'm disgusted.

"jay, this is yongjae. yongjae, this is jay" juyeon smiled fakely.

"now that you met my boyfriend, can you leave?"

"not so fast baby, i'll ask him a few questions before i go"

"what is this an interview?"

"no-"

"then get out!"

"chill babe"

babe? damn if i was really her boyfriend i would smack this bitch.

juyeon gave up and let him in her apartment.

"hi i'm yongjae!" he stretches his arms up. i just stared at it until he brought it down.

"i'm park jongseong" i smiled with disgust.

"so how did you two met?"

i let juyeon do all the talking because i might mess up.

"we bumped into each other and he asked for my number then we started talking then that's how we started dating"

well at least she told half the truth.

"really? i though-"

he was cutted off by someone's knocking. causing juyeon to stand up and opened the door.

"oh what are you doing here?"
