Martina's POV

"Hey I'm Aaliyah nice to meet you" the girl said pulling me into a hug
"Martina nice to meet you too" i said hugging her back
"Hey Francisco nice to meet you" my brother said shaking Shawn's hand
"Shawn nice to meet you too" he said smiling then looked at me
We pulled out of the hug with Aaliyah and she smiled softly at me
"We gonna talk about our annoying brothers later" she mumbled making me let out a giggles

Shawn looked up and down at me before biting his bottom lip then walked to me
"Shawn" i said in a polite tone
"Martina" he said smirking and i ignoring the urge of rolling my eyes
"Martina can you help me to set the table?" My mother said looking at me smiling and i nodded
"Sure" i said and followed her in the kitchen i can feel Shawn's stare burning in my back
"You can pit down the plate and i will put down the cutlery's and the glass" she said and i nodded

I placed the plate on the table and joined the others in the living room
"Hey honey" my dad said smiling at me making the whole living room attention focus on me
"Where is your mom?" He asked while I'm making my way on the couch between my brother and Aaliyah
"She still in the kitchen" i said sitting down and rest my head on Fran's shoulder and he nodded
"So Shawn how old are you?" My dad asked him
"I'm 18 sir" he said smiling and i just stared at him

"And you Aaliyah?" He said making her smile
"I'm 16" she said smiling
"Francisco how old are you?" the Mendes dad asked him
"I'm 18" he said
"18 and still dumb" i mumbled making Aaliyah giggles and he pinched my arm
"Ow" i said slapping his arm and rubbed the spot where he pinched me
"You're the dumbest one there" he said and my dad chuckled
"That's not the truth you're the only one pendejo here, you're the first one who is born so that's mean you're the most dumb between the two of us" i said sticking out my tongue at him

He rolled his eyes playfully before wrap his arm around my shoulder and rubbing his knuckles in my hair
"Nooo Fran no" i said and he chuckled
"Papá dile que pare por favor// dad tell him to stop please" and Fran chuckled before removing his grip at me and my dad laughed making me frown
I slapped the back of the head of Fran and Aaliyah brushing into a laugh
"How many times i have to not do that?" I said and he rubbed the spot where i slapped him
"Guys it's ready!" My mom said in the kitchen

Everyone sat down at the table
Fran and i were beside each other and Shawn and Aaliyah too
Shawn was sitting in the front of me and didn't stop staring at me
"So Shawn what school are you going to?" My dad asked making me tense up
"At the one who is down in the end of the street" he said and my mom looked directly at me
"Martina this not the school where you dad and i registered you?" She said making me look down at the delicious food on my plate

"Yeah" i said taking a sip of my water and I feel a feet tap at my heels i looked at Shawn who was smirking at me
"Oh so you already know each other?" The Mendes mom asked
"No." I said
"Yes." Shawn said in the same time as me, making everyone stare at us
I started at Shawn who stared back at me with his signature smirk
"Maybe he saw me at school but me i don't know him" i said taking a small sip of my water
"Maybe" he said crossing his arms

Aaliyah coughed awkwardly before said
"Where's the bathroom?"
"Come i will show you" i said standing up the only think i wanted now it's escape this weird situation
"Okay thank you" she said and we walked upstairs to the bathroom
"There you go if you need anything i will be here okay" i said and she smiled
"Thank you but i didn't really needed to go to the bathroom i just saw that you were a little bit embarrassed by the situation so i helped you to escape" she said shrugging making me giggles

"Don't worry i would love if someone do that for mean i mean that was really really awkward" she said giggling and i nodded
"So now that we only the two of us do you really know him or not?" She said lying against the wall
"Well umm know him i wouldn't go that far" i said and she raised her eyebrow
"Maybe i know him... well «know» him" i said making quotation marks with my fingers
"So yes you already saw him at school?" She said and i nodded
"But i don't want this being more awkward than it's already so i preferred deny the fact" i said and she nodded understanding
