"Hun?" Clover heard her mother call to her father from where she was in the living room. "Come here for a second, there's something on the news."

Clover heard her dad's footsteps as he walked down the hallway to see what his wife wanted. She sighed and sat up in her bed, the sheets and blankets still wrapped around her body. It was Sunday morning- the weekend- which meant she'd slept in. She was still half-asleep, so staying in bed was something Clover was looking forward to. As she lay back down, just about to get comfortable once more, someone knocked at her door.

"What?" she asked, a bit irritated- she wasn't a huge morning person.

Her father opened the door, "You're mum wants you to see the news too," he told her, leaving the door open a little so Clover could follow him.

She groaned to herself and untangled herself from her bedsheets. Getting up from her bed, she exited her room and walked down to the living room where her parents where.

"What is it?" Clover asked her mom, entering the room sleepily. "And where's Daisy? Don't you think that- whatever is so important- she should see too?"

"Daisy's coming, she's just a lazy girl. Come sit on the couch," her mother said, patting the spot next to her.

Clover sat on the couch, her knees pulled up to her chest in a position that was comfortable for her chilly morning body.

"Nothin' wrong with being lazy," Daisy drawled tiredly, coming up behind them and leaning on the couch.

"Okay, here's what I wanted to show you," their mom said, ignoring Daisy's comment and pressing a button on the television remote.

"Now we know this may seem crazy folks, but we're almost totally certain that this being does- in fact- really exist. Cameras have recently be installed inside and outside a cave so that researchers can watch the bats and their living patterns. They have been helpful for researching these creatures, but at the same time they have picked up some unusual occurrences. We head over now to Joshua, who has some recorded footage of this cave."

The screen then switched to a man- Joshua, the reporter.

"Thank you, Dave. Yes, we have been seeing some odd things happen and these cave cameras have picked them up. An example of a strange thing, is that we've been seeing a dark figure walking around. This figure hasn't shown a face, but we have heard it's voice from the microphones that were also put in the cave for the bat research. Take a listen and a look at this, folks."

Joshua was soon replaced by a video of the inside of the cave. It was empty grayness at first, but then suddenly a dark figure seemingly floated by the camera, making Clover jump a little in surprise.

"Is that the thing?" Daisy asked from behind her.

"Yes, keep watching," their mother answered, her attention still on the television.

A deep mumbling voice caught Clover's attention. It was seemed like it was coming from the dark figure.

"People must listen to me, who would dare refuse Baldassare's demands? They will know I am here and they will know I want the group. The group can certainly get them back- with those abilities of theirs. Silly little merman and fairy and such- even a few measly humans. I will get them to come to me and use them to get them back... They will come back... to me..."
