I am running
I am scared
The vision of the soldiers
The knights
The horses
I will have to give myself up
But not to them
Never
I ran
As fast as I could
My heart pumping
My legs tiring
The water gave me life
It gave me the world
It gave me a home
Food
A place to belong
So now it is time to make my sacrifice
My destiny
My purpose
Why was I born?
To give back what the water gave us
Life itself
I thrust myself into the water
This is the end
They won't kill me
They don't have the right
I held my breath and sunk
Deep into the murky depths
That is the end
The end of my life
The end of my journey.
