CHAPTER 24: HOUSEWARMING PARTY

'Cheers'

Sejeong gulps the soju in one shot. She is holding a housewarming party at her new apartment. She invites her best friends, Mina, Nayoung and Seungyoon as well as her boyfriend, Sehun. She also invites Chanyeol to thank him for helping her the other day. After the day of the incident, Sejeong has become closer to Chanyeol. Her first impression of him betrayed her as she found out he is not intimidating as she thought.

Chanyeol: Have you gotten used to the apartment?

Sejeong: I don't think I will for now. This apartment is too big and it's feel so lonely being alone.

Nayoung: It sure does. How you manage to live alone in this huge apartment before, Chan oppa?

Chanyeol: I think the size is just nice.

Sehun: I think so too.

Nayoung's jaw drops. Just nice? Upon seeing that, Mina giggles.

Mina: Their family house is a mansion.

Seungyoon: Why don't you make it a share house? You can collect rent.

Sejeong: I don't think it's appropriate as I also rent this house. However, I don't want to live with stranger.

Sehun: Point taken. It's hard for me to barge in if there is stranger.

Sejeong: Hey, who allow you to do so?

Sehun: Do I need permission? You are mine, remember?

Seungyoon: Stop it, lovebirds. You gonna make this jajangmyeon feels disgusting.

Mina and Nayoung burst out laughing. Chanyeol just shakes his head

Chanyeol: Nothing can be done then. Hey, I'm sorry about my musical instruments. It's quite difficult for me keep it at my new house as it is not spacy enough.

Sejeong: No sweat, sunbaenim. Take your time. It wasn't occupied after all.

Seungyoon: You play musical instruments, dude? What do you play?

Chanyeol: I have electronic piano keyboard, drums and few guitars.

Seungyoon: That's a lot. Show us something nice after dinner.

Chanyeol: Sure. I'll go and get the guitar later. Can I Sejeong-ah?

Sejeong who was trying feeding Sehun a tangsuyuk at that time startled when her name is mentioned. Then  she automatically put the tangsuyuk into her mouth. Her face redden when the eyes are all on her. Sehun pouts before gulping down his jajangmyeon.

Sejeong clears her throat, hiding embarrassment.

Sejeong: Eheem. Sure. Suit yourself. Do you need the key?

Chanyeol: No. I brought mine.

Sehun suddenly turns his face to Sejeong with his eyes widen.

Sehun: You give hyung the spare key? What about mine?

Sejeong rolls her eyes.

Sejeong: Its the room key. Not house key. The room is full of his things. Of course he need the key.

Sehun: But still..

Chanyeol: Shut up big baby. You already know the passcode. What do you need the key for?

Its Sehun who enter the passcode when they first arrived for the housewarming party as Sejeong wasn't home from groceries shopping yet.

Mina: Heol! You guys know each other passcode? Better just move in together then. You basically living together already.
