Chapter 4

Thursday November 26th 2020
It has been 3 years since Damian had left, and things haven't gone to great since then. Jon has become more like Damian he is reserved emotionally and more cynical, Cassie left to train more with Wonder Woman so Jon was by himself in school, yes he had some friends but no best friends and Bruce has gotten darker more brutal worse then he was when Jason died.

It was a normal Thursday school had just finished and Jon was walking home when someone bumped into him, he got ready to punch but stopped when he saw Cassie standing there. "Hiya, bud" she said "I'm sorry for not calling or contacting", "it's fine" Jon said staring at the ground as they walked side by side. " Not to be rude but why are you here today, of all days why today" he asked with a glint of sadness in his voice, today was the anniversary of when Damian left. "Two reasons, firstly to see my best friend and secondly your help is needed in Gotham and your not answering anyone, it's time to put the cape back on" she replied with joy in her voice thinking of the old days.

"Give me a time and place and I'll think about" he said walking off. As he did Cassie said "19:00 Wayne Manor", "Wayne Manor" repeated in Jon's head shivering down his spine as he walked home.

Kent residence
"Hey honey how was school" Lois called out only to be ignored, she shrugged it off and let it slide because of what today was, she turned to Clark, "I s something happening today, that I'm unaware of because he seems worse then usual", Clark sighed replying "Bruce wants us all in Gotham tonight, something about Justice League Villains and regular criminals just arriving at the bat cave and G.C.P.D". "I don't think Jon should go" Lois responded with worry, "Neither do I, but he needs to get back out there I know Damian was his friend but so was Cassie and she isn't this upset" Clark replied.

Wayne Manor Ball Room
"I'd like to thank you all for coming" Batman addressed the crowd, Jon hadn't arrived Clark and Cassie were sure he wasn't coming but then a sonic boom was heard shattering the glass of the manor as Jon landed in front of everyone. They all looked at him surprised and taken aback he changed his outfit it was now Black, with a white and red symbol. His hair was also brushed for once, Jon made his way to his father and Bruce continued his speech.

Gotham City-Narrows
Tim had suggested they all head to the narrows because that's where most criminals hide, they went in there questioning and interrogating everyone they could find about this person or people locking up criminals, but what they didn't know was how they knew where the Batcave was. After hours of searching they were all leaving.

Out of nowhere Jon asked "Batman did you get a new Robin" everyone went wide eyed because that was a question no one dared ask, Bruce turned to Jon and stared daggers in his soul "No". "Then who the hell is that" Jon said pointing to the roof of one of the buildings, the figure tried to run but Jon grabbed him and brought him to Bruce. Everyone watched as Bruce took the hood off the person dressed as Robin, Jon was hoping it was Damian but it wasn't. "Where did you get this uniform" Bruce boomed, the figure replied "I have a message for Bruce, Jon, Cassie and the Batfamily", Jon took over eyes glowing red "then spit it out" he shouted, "The League of Shadows is under new control and they are coming, there will be a war and only the Prince of Gotham and heir to the demon can stop it" and with that Jon hit him on the head and tried to fly off but was grabbed by Bruce, "Where do you think your going you have to help us find him and you have to answer some questions" Jon looked back at Bruce saying "This hell hole can burn for all I care and I owe you nothing, Damian made his choice to leave and now I'm making mine from this point forward I'm done" then he flew off into the night sky.
