It occurred to me that everything in this world is a fabrication of lies or the abomination of God's creation. My mum said that the life in this universe is beautiful no matter what the people in it have become. Well, I disagree. So much for my business, I avoid things that can easily hurt me by living up to these rules I made:
1. Never butt into someone's problem (unless it becomes your problem).
Let me explain: I have been in a situation where I butt into someone's business just because I thought I was helping. In my general defence, I thought I was doing the right thing. Example: On the third of July, a friend of mine at that time, came to me after school was over. She linked my arm to hers like she always did when she saw me and she gave this little innocent smile (that I knew it would damned me).
"Hey, umm... So... I need a favour," said Bella Creed, the girl with the cute red curly ponytail that she ties with a hot pink ribbon.
"Is it about Sean again?" I asked. I already knew this would lead to a guy named Sean. Sean, a boy whom she dated at the time.
"Look, he said he wanted to meet me at the back of the school, can you come with me? I don't want to go alone," she said. She gave this pout that literally means 'You need to go or I won't be friends with you'.
For a 13 year old girl who prioritize friendship, I needed to say yes no matter what. Bella was the only girl who wanted to talk to me and didn't thought I was weird. Or maybe she did think that I'm weird but she didn't mind. Seeing Bella next to me with our arms linked and there's no way I could smooth my way out (I already used the 'my-mum-is-waiting-for-me-outside' card yesterday) and so I sighed. She waited patiently until I finally said 'yes'.
"Fine. Just for 5 minutes. Then I'll go," I said while puffing my overgrown bangs. It was starting to annoy me and I was thinking to cut it again but my mum suggested I should let it grow long.
"Yeay! You're the best! Come!" she said excitedly. She grabbed my left wrist and she leads the way to our destination.

It was already longer than 5 minutes. I choose to stay because the arguments between Sean and Bella was heating up and I couldn't just left Bella alone with the guy who is now yelling right infront of her face.
"I DIDN'T CHEAT! YOU SET ME UP WITH THAY GIRL! SHE TOLD ME YOU'RE THE ONE WHO CALLED HER TO MEET ME UP SO YOU CAN TAKE THAT PICTURE AROUND TO SHOW PEOPLE THAT I'M THE CHEATER!" said Sean with his red tomato face. His veins were up on his neck.
"NO, I DID NOT! SHE LIED TO YOU! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!" said Bella, yelling back at him and she manage to pushed him a little further from her face. "AND YOU KNOW WHAT? WE ARE THROUGH!" she said again. This time, Sean didn't yell back.
I stood there, watching everything awkwardly. I didn't want to say anything because I actually knew that Bella did call Muriel to meet up with Sean so she can take the picture of them drinking starbucks together and she'd show the pictures to her other gal. By 'gal', I meant her other six friends (that I somehow noticed, wasn't allow to hang out with). I wanted to ask why Bella did that to Sean because I can see that Sean is such a decent guy compared to the boys Bella ever dated before. She should be lucky that Sean is at least a 9 out of 10 and here I am. No boyfriend what-so-ever.
"IS THAT WHAT YOU WANTED, HUH? YOU WANNA BREAK UP WITH ME?" said Sean, he sounded a little frustrated or in between disappointed. "YOU THINK I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU AND FRANKLIN? YEAH, I KNOW!"
Franklin Jeramih, the famous football guy who is also our senior. I have seen Franklin being so touchy with Bella occasionally when I'm hanging out with Bella. But I thought it was just a 'normal friend' thing (which at this point, nothing is pretty normal for a guy touching a girl who has a bf and still acted like it's the right thing to do). But I didn't judge Bella for that regardless. I don't dare to ask her "why are you and Franklin so close to each other? I thought you're committed to Sean?"
