The two of you are walking through the woods, the only sound being your footsteps and the crickets chirping scattered all around you.
"Sooo, what's hell like?" You ask Tweek, trying to spark up conversation rather than just walking in silence.
He looks down at you,"Didn't I mention it before? It's like a... uhm, beach resort? Right? Don't those usually have palm trees, water, and luaus or something?"
"Yes? For the most part I guess. Didn't you live on Earth at some point?" You tilt your head in confusion.
"Oh! No. I was born in hell. All of this is completely new to me."
"Oh I didn't even know you could do that… What's the point of hell then?"
"That's what I'm saying!" He looks relieved that someone else gets it.
He quickly goes silent however as the sound of footsteps can be heard from ahead.
"What-"
"Shhh."
He pushes a finger up to your mouth and gently pushes you into a couple bushes nearby. But you can hear a voice coming from Tweek's pocket. He quickly takes it out of his pocket to inspect it.
"Ohh this only happens when-" he cuts himself off and looks up to the figure ahead.
He looks back at you with a slightly annoyed face, "It's Pip."
Your eyes widen, "Oh, uh. Well, should we say hi?"
Being honest you really didn't want to, considering he ate the face off of two people already.
"We don't have to..." He said, obviously having read your thoughts.
This makes you frown, "Can you stop doing that?!" You run your fingers through your hair in frustration.
"I can't help it! It's just like having you say it out loud." He defended.
You were about to speak but heard the footsteps approaching and quickly swallowed the thought.
"Tally ho my good friends! What're you two doing in that bush? K-i-s-s-i-n-g?" Pip peeked around the bush, his everlasting smile plastered on his face.
Your face immediately went red at the comment.
Both of you rushed to defend yourselves. "WHAT?! NO. Why would we- uh- a- um!" You both said at the same time.
The two of you looked at each other nervously.
Pip burst out in laughter, "Hoho! I'm just teasing. You two are priceless!"
The two of you get up and out of the bush, not bothering to look anywhere near each other.
Pip lets out a relaxed sigh, "I was just about to head out to the laundromat to wash up. You two wanna come with?"
Tweek looked confused, "What's a laundromat?"
Now it was your turn to be confused, "They don't have laundromats in hell?"
"Nope! Also Tweek, a laundromat is somewhere you go to clean your clothes."
"You can clean your clothes?!"
You looked at Tweek in disbelief, "You haven't washed your clothes once?! No wonder it stunk!" You smiled.
He raised his eyebrows in concern, "I stink?"
You and Pip both laughed, which eased the tension between the three of you a bit.
"I guess we should go then…" Tweek rubbed the back of his neck.
"Ah I'm just kidding, I have a terrible sense of smell." You pat his back reassuringly.
With that, the three of you make your way towards town, taking part in chill conversations.
On your way you learn a lot more about hell, what it's like to have been raised there, how Pip ended up there, and how it's completely different from what it once was.
The three of you enter the laundromat and you quickly notice the place is infested with dark, horned little creatures. Pip and Tweek don't seem to be surprised by these creatures as they just ignore them. Eyeing the creatures warily, you continue to follow Pip and Tweek closely behind. Pip opens one of the empty washers and puts his extra pair of clothes in. You watch as Tweek takes off his shirt and you look away instantly, blushing profoundly. Pip takes it from Tweek and adds it to the load, he pauses, and turns to you. "Y/n dear, would you like to wash that top of yours?" He points to your top, which is covered in dirt, blood, and quite possibly vomit from your many terrifying adventures as of late.
Your eyes widen as you just now realize how grimy it had gotten. "Uhh, sure lemme just," you struggle trying to take it off, it keeps getting stuck on your arms, "hold on, almost," you finally manage to get the grimy top off your arms and sheepishly hold it out to Pip. "Thank you." You smile.
He squints his eyes and forces a smile, gingerly taking the shirt and tossing it in with the others.
"... No problem chap."
Yep, just 3 dudes in a laundromat. 2 of them shirtless. Nothing gay here. Speaking of gay, you refused to look at Tweek at this moment. You were quite self conscious at the moment about being bare chested as well, so you were kind of facing the opposite direction, holding your arms in your hands nervously. You were so nervous, that you kinda blanked out on Pip's conversation about not having any bucks to give.
Eventually, you feel a tap on your shoulder.
You hesitantly turn around to see it's Tweek, he's holding out a fluffy green sweater.
"Hey I thought y-you looked uncomfortable and I found this." He nudges the sweater towards your arms.
Your heart flutters in your chest and you take the soft sweater, quickly putting it on. It's a little oversized, but comfy. You smile warmly up at Tweek before quickly pulling him into a hug, "Thank you."
He tenses a little, surprised at first, but relaxes into the hug and returns it.
"Uh, yeah! You're uh, ACK! You're welcome!"
You quickly realize he's still shirtless and pull out of the hug, "Oh I'm sorry! I forgot that-"
"No no you're fine. It was… nice." He smiles, making your heart skip a beat.
Woah hey did you have feelings for Tweek? You did love the way he was always considerate and how he's stuttered and OH SHIT he can read your mind. Shit uh think of something else! Uhhhh laundry amiright?! You look up and see Tweek giving you a reassuring smile, you groan in embarrassment and hide your face in your hands.
You feel a pair of arms wrap around you and it feels like your heart is being pulled by a taffy puller. You bury your face in his chest in an attempt to hide your feelings, to no avail. He could read you like a book. His chest rumbles as he chuckles, running his hand along your back soothingly. Surprisingly it does relax you some. He lowers his head to whisper in your ear, "I love you too."
His breath in your ear sent shivers down your spine. In response you just squeezed into the hug tighter. You felt Tweek pat your back a couple times before pulling out of the hug.
Pip was staring at the two of you with the biggest grin plastered on his face. "So there IS something going on between you two." He clutches his hands together and tilts his head, "So adorable! Love it!"
Tweek rolls his eyes as Pip hands him his newly cleaned shirt.
"Anywho! What say we celebrate with a good ol' visit to Denny's?" Pip suggested.
You thought it over and then the thought of endless pancakes flooded your mind and you couldn't help but nod.
Tweek on the other hand, looked confused as he threw his shirt back on. "Who's Denny?? And how do they have endless pancakes???"
You and Pip laughed as you walked out the laundromat and towards Denny's, explaining that it's just the name of the restaurant and the 'endless pancakes' were just refills and Denny's wasn't supplying their pancakes from hell.------------------------------
Just a short lil chapter before the next big one. :)
