I've had 6 tests today :')

The sound of rain splashed on top of the roof of the coffee shop as people filtered in and out, trying to get home as quickly as possible. The warm glow shining through the windows illuminated the pathway, trying to survive against the glowering gaze of the thundering, dark storm.

Casting a glance out the window, Dream sighed as he tied up his beige apron feeling his body relax from the end of the morning rush. Hearing the faint tinkle of the bell above the quiet chatter, Dream perked up and made his way to the counter to greet the new customer.

"Hey Dream." Ink called out as Dream made his way to the counter to greet the regular, "Hey Ink, what could I get for you today?" Dream responded, grabbing a cup getting ready to prepare Ink's usual order. "Just the usual," Ink snickered as Dream rolled his eyes.

"Also, what time does your shift finish?" "2 pm, why?" Dream answered looking at Ink suspiciously, "Well, it's already 11 am, and the rain doesn't seem to be letting up anytime soon." Ink placed his elbow on the counter, leaning onto it. "So?" "You didn't bring an umbrella, did you?" Ink watched as Dreams face became slightly worried. "I guess that'll just have to run home." Dream replied, casting an anxious glance out the window again.

"I'll meet you out the back at 2, 'kay?"

"What?" Dream asked, his head snapping to look at Ink, "Well, we can't have you getting sick, can we? Otherwise, I won't be able to see your cute little face" Dream felt very tempted to throw the coffee at Ink as he placed it down in front of him. "Are you planning on kidnapping me?" Dream questioned, watching Ink snicker. "Nope, so will I meet you there?" "Fine." Ink fist-pumped the air, picking up his coffee, waving goodbye to Dream.

"Hey Ink, Thanks" Dream called out and Ink opened his umbrella his face heating up, looking down and preparing to clean the coffee machine.

Dream gazed at the dark sky, attempting to keep as close as he could to the sheltered wall. The thunder crashed threateningly, as the rain continued to pound heavily on the now quiet coffee shop. The icy wind whipped around his body, wracking his body in shivers.

"Hey Dream." Dream whipped around to see Ink walking towards him, umbrella in hand. "Hi Ink!" Dream quickly stepped under the umbrella when Ink was close enough to save him from the cold prison.

"Sooo- how was work?" Ink asked, grabbing Dreams hand making him flush golden. "I-It was good.." Dream stammered embarrassed. The two walked along the slippery path, Ink creating small talk a few times but the pair mainly walked in a comfortable silence.

"Sooo, where do you live?" Ink asked, "Stalker." Dream muttered, glaring at Ink, "I need to know where you live so I can walk you home," Ink explained grinning at Dream, "Fine, just as long as you don't kill me at 3 am," Dream looked at Ink for confirmation, "I live at ## Peterson Road."

Pulling Ink along to his apartment block, giggling as Ink slipped and stumbled. "Dreaaam, stop pulling me." Ink whined, sounding like a small child wanting candy, causing Dream to burst out in soft, melodic laughter.

Ink stared at Dreams laughing face, in his eyes Dream looked like an angel, his face lit up golden, his mouth open wide but not too wide, his pastel yellow sweater gently falling off one shoulder.

"We're here!" Dream announced, dragging a blushing Ink towards the stairs. Stumbling and tripping up the stairs, the duo walked laughing towards Dreams room.

"So, umm... I'll see you next time?" Ink asked Dream who was opening the door, "Yeah..." Dream replied, wishing that Ink could stay longer, "Bye then?" Dream stood on the other side of the doorframe. Ink placed his foot in front of the door, stopping it from closing, reaching out, Ink placed his hand on Dreams check leaning forward slowly.

Dream felt his soul accelerate jumping out his throat and falling to the floor. Leaning forward as well, Dream grabbed Inks wrist shutting his eyes wistfully, feeling their lips(?) connect into a soft loving kiss.
