Now on with le chapter...

I stared at the bin and rice on my countertop. I read online that ferrets liked to play in rice. I didn't believe it until I found a few videos on youtube. It was cute, to be honest. I found an empty bin and poured rice until it reached halfway. Now, I need to find my noodle. He'll probably be with Jimin curled up somewhere. They seem to be somewhat close, which might be due to both of them experiencing a similar past.

Although, they do bicker quite a lot. I go to my room and find Jimin in a small ball sleeping peacefully on the navy blue blankets of my bed. My noodle was nowhere in sight. I exited my room while closing the door softly. I went to one of their bedrooms and found a furry little noodle chewing on some chicken. "There you are," I said while locking eyes with a now wide-eyed noodle. He put his little paws up in surrender. I took a step forward. He made other plans and dashed toward the door. He scurried past my legs with his chicken held tightly between his teeth. You little shit. I hurry after him while also trying not to step on him on my way down the stairs. I don't want to squash my noodle.

He makes another dash to the living room in hopes of getting under the couches. As quickly as I could, I scooped him up and looked into his beady little eyes. He was chewing his chicken as fast as he could. "Alright, you little noodle thief," I held him to my chest and scratched his head to let him know he wasn't in trouble. He calmed down and just dangled in my arms while licking his teeth.

I took him to the kitchen and placed him in the bin that had rice. Jin seemed a bit confused at first. But he soon got the idea of what a ferret was supposed to do in a bin that had rice. Safe to say, my countertop now has small pieces of rice all over it, along with a happy ferret playing in rice. Jimin came down not so long after.

"I'm sorry, did we wake you?" I asked Jimin while scratching his ears. He hummed sleepily and leaned into my touch. I opened my mouth to say something else but quickly closed it when my phone rang.

I answered my phone once I realized it was my manager. "Y/n! I'm so glad you answered! I forgot to tell you about a little project we're going to be doing! Please come to my office so we can further discuss the project! I believe you own a few hybrids, please, bring them too as it concerns them too," Manager-nim said over the phone. "Okay, I'll be there in 30 minutes, manager-nim," I told my manager and quickly ended the call right after. I looked at the two hybrids that were looking at me in confusion. "We're going to my company, okay? Please go get ready. Jiminie please show Seokjinie how to disguise himself," I told my boys with a smile. Jimin nodded and scooped up the noodle taking him upstairs.

I bit my lip as we entered the building. I swear they better not plan on using them as guinea pigs. I don't give two shits if I have to sue their asses as long as I keep them safe. My grip on their hands tightened slightly. We reached manager Nim's office after a few minutes. I knocked and entered when I heard a faint "come in". I pulled my boys behind me once we entered. "Manager-Nim, you wanted to see us?" I asked while staying standing. I felt the boys feel uneased. They hid behind me more. "Please take a seat."

"Ah, yes. You've always helped hybrid shelter the best you could, so we decided to let your fans know of your passion for helping save hybrids. So, we're going to go to Daegu next week. We will film a documentary about your passion for them while you also volunteer at a hybrid shelter," Manager-nim said with a smile.

"What does that have to do with my hybrids?" I asked while petting Jin and Jimin. "I wanted to ask them if they are fine with being filmed and shown on the media. With your permission, of course," Manager-nim said with a smile. I looked at both Jin and Jimin who both had shocked expressions.

"Do you guys want to?" I asked them. Jimin looked at me with a scared expression and shook his head. I looked at Jin who did the exact same. "They don't want to do it as you can see. They won't be filmed and they better not be," I said looking straight into manager-nim's eyes with seriousness. He hastily nodded his head with a smile. "Okay, now that that's out of the way this is how it's going to work," Manager-nim began to explain all the details.

After a few hours, we were finally allowed to leave the building. "Hm, where would you guys like to go for a vacation?" I asked with a smile. "B-Busan!" Jimin said excitedly before blushing at his outburst. "I have a friend there... I told him I would find him again..." Jimin muttered. "That's if you want too!" Jimin said with a smile. "Okay, we'll go there once I get my week off, okay?" I told Jimin with a smile. He nodded happily and held my hand tighter. "What about you Jin? Where else would you like to go?" I asked the timid ferret. "I-I don't know," He whispered while hiding his face in my arm. I smiled softly and ruffled his hair before holding his hand. "That's okay, you can still think about it. Take as long as you need, hun," I told Jin. He nodded while still having his face in my arm. Daegu huh? I remember going to volunteer there when I was younger back in my trainee days. Maybe... I'll run into him. I wonder if he found a forever home already... Hopefully, he did. If not, I'll adopt him as I promised. I'll find you...

Yoongi.
