The Ghost Boy of the Justice League

Metamorphosis part I

Danny Fenton was walking through the halls of Casper High on the way to his locker after a long pop quiz by Mr Lancer and boy was he happy that it was over and worst part is that it was a math quiz his worst subject but thankfully it was only 20 questions 

Danny made it to his locker and put his books and stuff away before grabbing his bag and closing and locker and heading for the entrance 

"hey Danny wait for us!" yelled a voice making him turn around to see Tucker and Sam running to catch up to him 

"hey i was just about to wait outside for you guys" said Danny as they walked outside the school and down the street 

"sorry man i almost forgot my PDA in the classroom" said Tucker 

"and i had to use the restroom so i asked Tucker to wait for me" said Sam 

"its cool" said Danny "so now that schools over what do you guys want to do today" 

"i say we go to the mall they have a couple of new Dumpty Humpty CD's that just came and i've been dying to here them" suggested Sam 

"sounds like a plane to me" said Tucker "what do you say Danny?"

Danny was opened his mouth to respond when he suddenly heard gunshots and turned his head to see robbers shooting at the cops 

"aww man its another batch of crooks, it never ends" sighed Danny he took off his backpack and handed it to Sam "i'll take care of this and then we can go to the mall ok" 

"no problem man go do you thing" said Tucker giving him a thumbs up 

Danny nodded before running behind a nearby car with his friends covering him, then after a flash of light he flew out as Danny Phantom and landed on the blue truck and knocking them both out with one hit 

One of the crooks partners glared at the young hero before pointing his gun at him

"you little......eat led!" he yelled as he fired at him but Phantom reacted quickly and touched the truck turning both himself and the crooks inside intangible as the bullets flew past them all 

The crook gasped as Phantom turned the truck intangible again before kicking him in the face knocking him out 

"he's a monster!" the crooks yelled in fear "lets go!" 

They rushed into the truck and began to drive off 

Phantom watched them leave for a second before holding his hand out pointing it towards the truck before firing a ghost ray at the ground causing the truck to topple over and roll upside down before skidding to a stop 

The citizens of Amity Park cheered and clapped for him as he waved at them before flying away 

Seconds later he appeared beside his friends back in human form 

"nice job man" commented Tucker as he and Danny fist bumped 

"while i admit you could've held back a little more good job Danny" said Sam giving him back his bookbag 

Danny smiled as he put his bookbag back on "thanks guys now come on lets get to the mall before something else-" he was cut off when he noticed what was on TV in one of the electronics stores

He narrowed his eyes and walked over to it with his confused friends following him 

"whats up Danny?" asked Sam as they stopped in front of the glass window 

"more importantly what the heck is that?" asked Tucker pointing at a humanoid figure on of the TV screens 

Danny didn't respond instead just listened to the news
