Chapter 2: The Night That Changed It All

Leah's P.O.V.

A few days later...

" Why hello again!! It's been a month since we saw each other, so how was your time back here??" The same girl asked, Why do I keep seeing this girl in my dreams?? She seems friendly, but why do her eyes look so dead inside? I just noticed if this girl keeps coming into my dreams, does that mean I'm supposed to know her?? " Why are you giving me that look?? Oh, is it the fact I look more menacing than usual? Yeah, I was having a bad time this month" What does she mean by "Is it the fact I look more menacing" ?? She seemed very innocent the first time I met her in my dreams. Out of the blue, the world around me started to break into pieces, like glass shards on a mirror.

" Leah!! Leah wakes up your about to drool on the book!!" Leah sat right up quickly, she was drenched in a cold sweat." Thank god you didn't drool on that book the library staff are gonna kill us if you did that" Jirou said.  " Oh- sorry Jirou! I was just tired, I didn't get that much sleep last night when you have cram in so much last minute for a test!!" Leah said with a tired look on her face. " Love your energy right now dude," Jirou said as she leaned on her chair. " And what we're you reading that cause you too just, fall asleep like that??" Jirou asked as she played with her earbuds. Leah raised her head and took the book underneath her head. " Well the answer is I was reading an inline skating magazine .. wait- I don't remember taking this book off the shelf??" Leah said, she looked very concern since she wasn't really a fan of sports magazines. Jirou looked over and casually said" You probably took it when trying to find another Manga"  Leah slowly read the sports magazine for a while before casually throwing in Jirou's face.

Later in the middle of the night...

Leah was under the covers of her bed, scrolling thru social media as usual. " I should head to bed by now, It's been a stressful day" Leah got out of bed lazily before noticing her phone had been buzzing like crazy. 

*Mochi_2009 had posted a video tagging you

" Huh, is it another video mocking my name??" Leah said as she sat up on her bed. The brightness of her screen blinded her as she on her mobile phone. As her eyes adjusted to the brightness, she could she a blurry image." Recently a new rumour sprang up!! And guess what!! It's about the same girl last time." Leah heard the girl said. Leah's heart sank as she heard what the girl said." This time, the rumuor I heard said she worked with one of the vigilantes that had unknowingly disappeared after a massive incident that the hero society covered up." " The vigilante's name was " Angel of magic" Basicly she was a mage vigilante known for targeting hero's who only became a hero for fame and money. They say the infamous Dove family had been attacked in the middle of a windy night, and that Leah Dove herself helped the vigilante to kill her own parents~" " If you know Leah Dove personally, I advice you to dump her until the authorities finally put her in her rightful place." Leah dropped her phone, she couldn't believe what she heard, she wanted it all to go away. The thoughts in her head started to swirl around her, slowly consuming her within.

"Leah?? Leah, are you here? You left your jacket-" Deku said before dropping her jacket on the floor. The room was a mess, the shelves had collapsed and the bed covers had been thrown aside. Deku ran too Leah's room window to try and find her, but she was nowhere to be seen from the windows view

Leah couldn't see anything, everything was a blur from the tears filing up her eye sockets. She didn't know what she was doing, nor what she was thinking, she just kept running away. Suddenly, she noticed her surroundings grew brighter with a dark blue hue, then it all grew dark. Leah stopped and slowly opened her eyes, she noticed her surrounding seemed different, she could've ran that far, but she didn't recognize the buildings surrounding her. Leah turned back to see whether the dark blue hue was still there, but there was nothing except an empty street. "Shit what have I done!? I better head to a nearby store, incase someone is following me" Leah walked along the side walk before finding a convenience store which haven't closed. "Thank god I brought my phone, I just hope there is cell network in this area" Leah opened her phone and dialed Mina on the phone. After a few minutes of waiting and pacing around the store, the phone finally made a sound that made Leah freeze." The number you dialed is unavailable, please try again" Leah felt her knees buckled, she couldn't balance herself on her weakened knees. She sat there in silence as new tears started to form in her eyes. She heard an audible gasp behind her, she slowly turned her head to see a boy behind her, he seemed worried as he stared at Leah. " Oh- um I'm sorry mister, I'll get going now, sorry" Leah got up and tried to exit the store before the boy spoke up " No miss, you no need to go I was just wondering why were you crying?? Maybe I can help you??" Leah turned to face the boy, he had a gentle face with a soft expression. " I can't contact my friend to find me cause it said her number wasn't available, but do you know the direction to UA High??" Leah asked as she looked at the boy. "Miss, that school doesn't exist here in Japan, Are you sure your not mentioning a school from another country??" He asked with a face of curiosity. " That can't be right, here let me show you a pic" Leah grabbed her phone and showed a picture  of Leah, Mina and Jirou in front of UA High

" How is that possible?? I don't see any results at all" He said as he eyed Leah. " But, there's no way!" Leah said as fear started to show on her face. " Wait- but if your school doesn't exist but you have a picture of it, are you even from this world." He said. " I don't think so, but I did past by something like a bright light but it was blue" Leah said as she stared down to the floor. " This could be a case of accidental shifting". " Wait what's shiftin-" He covered Leah's mouth and led her to the alleyway outside the store. Leah broke free from his grasp and silently shouted " What the hell dude I thought you were about to kidnap me!!" " Sorry, but back to the topic of shifting, a lot of people would suddenly appear out of nowhere and after a few hours they disappear. I found it odd and thought it was only happening at Karasuno. But no it wasn't only Karasuno, Aoba Johsai  had shifters joining their school and mysteriously disappearing." " Most of them seemed to be looking for a relationship, we don't really know why but one things for sure is that most of them seemed to know us personally, like we had been good friends. This incident had happened to me atleast 5 times a month. In your situation though, you probably aren't a shifter, but I don't understand how you manage to come here"

" Okay, can you repeat what you said cause I'm over here confused as hell" Leah said. He slowly slapped himself on the face and sighed. " Well, since your probably not gonna go back to your reality, you gotta stay for awhile here. Oh, and I forgot to introduce myself, man where are manners??" He stopped leaning on the alleyway wall and stood still. "The names Sugawara Koushi, I hope we get along with eachother, now come on. You're probably cold and starving right now, Thank god me and Daichi usually have dinner at 8"  Suga said as they walked out of the alleyway.

" You know, your kinda naive for believing a stranger, ma'am" Suga said as they walked along the sidewalk. Leah blushed thanks to second hand embarrassment and the fact she could have been kidnapped.

Authors note: Welp, this wasn't really what I first wrote in my book but, kinda makes some sense?? Actually no- But in my book I made Suga soo f-ing naive and I hated that because I started Haikyuu a few weeks before I wrote it for my friend. Oof- So I hope you liked it and thank you for reading!
