Chapter 3: Karasuno Here I Come!

" So, what happened in your world that made you accidently shifted here??" Sugawara asked as they walked down a pathway through a small park. " Well, at my school, alot of students use to bully me because of my quirk and fake rumours about me." Leah said. " No wonder why you ran off from your school dormitories, I probably just ignore it or give them a good punching if it was someone from the volleyball team when I was in High school"  Sugawara said as he pulled out his phone. " Wait your not in high school anymore??" Leah said as Suga swiped something on his phone. " I graduated from high school last year, now I have a part time job as a pre-school teacher" Suga finally stopped swiping and showed Leah something on his phone. A picture with multiple students in similar uniforms, and in similar jackets. " This was the Karasuno's volleyball team, well, before the third years graduated." Suga gave Leah his phone to inspect the picture of the volleyball team. Leah noticed one student was shorter than all the others, he was standing next to a boy with black raven hair with the jersey number 9. " Hey Sugawara-" " Just call me Suga" " Oh okay, Suga do you know who is this person, he seems short for volleyball" Leah said as she pointed him out to Sugawara. " Oh that's the teams ace, Hinata Shoyo. Even though he's short he can jump very high" Sugawara said. " Well, we have arrived to my apartment" Suga said as they stopped infront of a tall building. " I just hope Daichi cooked something good, I'm starving." 

Suga entered the building with Leah and took a lift. As they reached the 12th floor, Sugawara and Leah exited the lift and entered room number 201. " I'm home Deadchi!!" Sugawara said as he entered his apartment. " Stop calling me that it's Daichi not Deadchi, Sugawara" Leah took off her shoes and looked around the apartment. The apartment was very clean in general but it looked very aesthetic. " Oh, why do we have a guest right now Suga, I had plans for both of us tonight" Daichi said as he spotted Leah behind Suga. " Come on it's only a movie night, and she's not from here" Sugawara said as he dropped on the couch. " Is it another shifter?? Cause I'll have to report this to the police again." Daichi said as he placed some food on the dining table. " No Daichi, she's not another shifter, if it was another one I would have took them to the police right away" Suga said. " Hey Suga, why do you have to file a report to the police when you find a shifter??" Leah asked out of curiosity. " Well it's because we want to know why there have been people shifting, and whether there is an alternate universe. Lately scientist have found one alternate universe which is where the shifters are from." Sugawara said as he got up to help Daichi with the dinner table. " So, Leah is not from the alternate universe the shifters were from but from another alternate universe. " How are you so sure she's not a shifter pretending to not be one??"Daichi asked. " Well, she didn't look like a shifter and she had a picture of a school behind her and, there were two girls next to her, one of them had pink hair and skin and the other had earbuds on her ears" Sugawara said as he set the last plate on the table.

" We'll continue this conversation later, Daichi. But for now let's eat I'm starving to the death by now." " And you should join us too Leah, we can get to know each other for now." Sugawara said as Leah sat down on the table with them. As they all eat, Leah slowly introduced herself. " Okay, one question. If you aren't from the world of shifters, what is it like in your world, there could be endless alternate universes that are can be weird and wacky." Daichi asked as he finished his bowl of rice. " And I like that teal hair colour it fits you!!" Sugawara said out of no where, making Leah blush cause most people don't really like her teal hair. " Well, I don't really know whether you would think this is all Bullshit or real." Leah said. " Like I said, other alternate universes could be  weird and wacky so we probably would trust you." Daichi said as he finished his bowl of rice. "Well, in my world, 80 percent of the population on earth have this thing called a quirk which is something like a super power. while the 20 percent of people don't have it in their genetics. The quirk usually comes at the age of 4 but there are some late bloomers" 

Daichi and Sugawara listened carefully until Leah stopped. " Soo, in your society, you guys have quirks and in your school you train to be heroes, sounds more grounded in reality except the fact you guys have quirks." " Okay but do you have that quirk thing cause I'm curious" Sugawara said as he finished his rice of bowl. " Okay I'll do it, just to prove the whole thing is real."  Leah felt nervous, she was scared they would think she was a villian or a monster. She muster up the courage and activated her quirk. Tiny ice shards grew on her hands and arms, the ice was filled with shadow like objects before slowly fading away as the ice melted. " Woah, I didn't expected that too happen, jesus-" Daichi said before getting cut off by Sugawara. "Wow do you do that?! Do you just activate something and it happens?? The ice looks really cool!! Can I show some to my students??" Sugawara rambled until he saw the uncomfortable look on Leah. " Sorry Leah, I got too excited." Sugawara said. " No it's okay!! I get use to it, and I can make some for your students if you want?" Leah said as she and Sugawara went to the living room. 

" Thank you for helping me, Sugawara!" Leah said as Sugawara and Daichi gave her a spare room to stay in. " Well, you can actually stay here but you gotta help with the rent." Daichi said.  "Yeah, being a college student and having a part time job is very tiring." Sugawara said. " Sure why not? I could probably get a part time job so I can pay for the rent and school fee." Leah said as she pulled out her wallet. " So how much is the rent?" Leah asked Daichi. " Well if we split each of us have to pay... 6903.3 JPY each"( I did my research and that is about 65.883 USD cause rent in Japan is 50 to 70000 JPY). " What else do I have to do to repay your kindness??" Leah asked. " That's all you gotta do to repay you, nothing much" Daichi said. " Well thank you for helping me, Sugawara and Daichi." Leah said as she bow down. " No problem Leah." Sugawara said as he pulled Leah into a tight hug. " Now come on, movie night is about to start. Should we watch a horror movie or an action movie??" Suga said as the three went to the living room to start their movie night.

Hello fellow readers, I just realized I haven't properly introduced the main character A.K.A. Leah Dove. She is Japanese but her father was half American and had an English last name. I would probably post her info soon but for now I hope you enjoy this story!!
