AN UNEXPECTED visit from the Sky deities, those who sat on the throne near Bathala, has surprised the Lunar Realm, to the point that everyone has stopped working completely just to witness the heavenly transport of the Sky deities parading over their village towards the Lunar Palace. It was almost like they all have transcended to another spiritual realm for the overwhelming energies that these gods possessed.
Since Libulan did not get to visit the Sky personally, the gods of Kaluwalhatian decided to pay a visit instead. To ensure that the newly proclaimed guardian of the moons is doing well and is performing his duties well. He was considered the youngest god to ever ascended as a guardian with a major role to the divinities and humanity.
The first heavenly transport that was first among the rest, was owned by the god of the blazing fireball in the sky, guardian of the sun, son of Dumakulem and Anagolay, and chief patron of the warriors; Apolaki. Praised by the Tagalogs and Visayans alike, his mere existence has strengthened courage and bravery in the mortal land where these tribes reside.
Like the sun, his eyes were forever brilliant and bright, imprints of his godhood over his shoulders with the rays of the sun and towards his lower abdomen can be seen, emitting a bedazzled yet intimidating aura as they arrived first with his transport pulled by beastly looking sun lions. Apolaki almost looked like his father, the only difference is that he always smiles whenever the sun, sky, or lunar people would glance and stare at him. He is known for his friendly and cheeky personality but a scholar and war god of the east.
He shone so brightly that the moons became visible in the morning, and made the Lunar people enchanted by his superior appearance. Solar gods have surrounded his transport to protect him from any causes of trouble, and he is also being escorted by Solar goddesses who were the bringer of the gifts that Apolaki has brought. Beside him sat a young god with the energy of the sun flowing smoothly on every strand of his hair. Unlike the sun guardian, he never put up a smile on his lips nor even looked up to see the people, instead, he looked solemnly at his foot to avoid any interactions.
"Why you must be staring at the ground, my child?" Apolaki asked in a worried tone as he noticed his son avoiding every gaze from the Lunar people.
"I would have preferred training back home, father," he replied to him before looking away and closing his eyes to rest or avoid another discussion with his father. Apolaki knew that his son acting this way meant he doesn't want to be bothered so he only smiled at him before looking back ahead.
“Ah, she is also here,” Apolaki beamed upon seeing another familiar deity.
The next transport seems to be a huge white bird whose feathers were soft at the lightest touch as it carries the goddess of love and childbirth. Surrounded by her god warriors who were known for their enticing beauty, they hold the god given weaponry made of strong wood and has the goddess’ imprints embedded on them. Most of her god maidens were dancing gracefully around her transport and entertaining the Lunar people, especially the children. There were flowery imagery of flora and fauna to enjoy seeing as they move swiftly and gently along with the sound of the wind.
The only realm where goddesses are taken to be guided and trained during their godhood, the Life Realm. Where they get taken care of to have pose, elegance, motherhood, beauty. The owner of this humongous, beautiful bird is no other than Dian Masalanta. She is the guardian of children and lovers. She is known for her silky soft earthly hair that grows flowers on every strand, and how it covered her bosoms as she gives away some flowers as a sign of appreciation from the goddess herself.
Arriving next to Dian were from the realm of the Sea, part of the ocean where it is close enough to the realm of Lunar since its existence depends on the cycle of the moons. Without the moon, the tides would tend to be stagnant and unmoved, and this prevents the fishermen to travel during the day and at night. The goddess residing on this realm controls the seven boundaries between the sea monsters and sea people and helps the fishermen to row their boats and ships during their voyage. Sitting calmly on her very own divine ship with hundreds of sea monsters guarding her, Luyong Baybay is what they call her.
The Lunar folk were a bit scared at first upon seeing various faces of fishes that walks and talks, but when this merfolk started to reach out and gifted them ornaments such as pearls and shellsㅡ the Lunar people found them charming and generous despite the differences they had.
A ship that held a thousand gold, a thousand soul, and a thousand memoryㅡ the legend about Amanikable never ceases to exist whenever it is taught to young deities. His existence has brought fear among the mortals after being spurned by a beautiful mortal maiden that he fell for. As it broke his heart, he swore vengeance against the mortal that will cross his domain and will send turbulent waves and horrible tempest to destroy and wreck down ships of men.
But despite his ill-temper, he is still worshipped by the hunters who were mortals and seeks for his blessings to give them the strength and knowledge of catching their prey. His capability to hunt like no other has set a standard among the gods and mortals alike, but he rarely goes out of his ship now for he was still bearing the pain and frustration he had.
A few of the Sky deities didn't show up for the visit since they have other things to do but they are sending their regards towards Libulan through the lavish gifts that the current Sky deities have brought for him.
