The is the most current generation of Hilux. Just like the 3rd gen Tacoma it got a minor redesign consisting of a face lift and more engine options. The cab and bed are the exact same as the 7th gen Hilux with a different front end and taillights. They also changed the engine options to 3 gas/Petrol motors and 6 Diesel engines.

2.0L 1TR-FE I4: 139hp and 136lb-ft of torque
2.7L 2TR-FE I4: 161hp and 181lb-ft of torque
4.0L 1GR-FE V6: 235hp and 277lb-ft of torque

Diesel
2.4L 2GD-FTV I4: 150hp and 300lb-ft or torque (turbo)
2.5L 2KD-FTV I4: 102hp and 190lb-ft of torque (turbo)
2.5L 2KD-FTV I4: 160hp and 253lb-ft of torque (turbo with intercooler)
2.8L 1GD-FTV I4: 201hp and 370lb-ft of torque (turbo with intercooler)
3.0L 1KD-FTV I4: 163hp and 270lb-ft of torque (turbo with intercooler)
3.0L 5L-E I4: 95hp and 145lb-ft of torque (no turbo or intercooler) - only available with R151 Manual
