*Corpse Husband X Reader* Story + One-shots

Chapter V

No ones POV

It was the next morning. Y/n woke up at around 9am to a text!

Corpse:"Hey, Y/n! Good morning! Any plans for today?

Y/n: Oh, just the usual, playing on X life and such, but since i had a livestream yesterday i dont have to post anything :)

Corpse: Well i was thinking maybe we can hang out? There is a good mexican restaurant that just opened 5 min away from my apartment and i wanted to go and check it out. Do you want to come with me?

Y/n: Sure! That sounds better than sitting home! When are we going?

Corpse: Around 8pm. I will come and pick you up where do you live?

Y/n im just going to share my location, just to make it easier for you :)

Corpse: Okay! See you then

Y/n was surprised at the sudden invitation. She really liked Corpse, even though she had a boyfriend she was thinking about starting something with him. She knew she just had to break things off with Dave, but it wasnt just that she liked Corpse, she had another reason to...

Y/n spent the day, exited and waiting for 8pm. She started getting ready at 4pm. She decided to wear some black skinny jeans, a white T-shirt and a plain leather jacket. She curled her hair and had very light make up on.

The time was 7.47pm. Y/n was just on her phone sitting on her couch when Dave came out of the room. He was dressed in a black suit and had on a red tye.

"Going out i see?"
Y/n asked

A"nd? You are going out too."

"Yes, i am. As a matter of fact im leaving in a bit"

"Well im leaving now."
Said the man said as he left. Dave looked handsome and the suit he wore was the one he had on at his sisters wedding last December. Y/n got very sad because she remembered how happy she was with Dave and how much she loved him. But knowing why he was dressed up made her even sadder. She sat in thought, close to tears when she got a call from Corpse.

"Hey! Im coming now. Be ready."
He said

"Okay! Thank you"

She hung up. Sitting on the couch she decided that even though going on a date while she was in a relationship wasnt okay, what her "boyfriend" was doing was even worse so she knew it was the right thing to do.

She got a knock on the door and opened it. Corpse was there holding flowers.

"These are for you!"

"Wow! They are beautiful! My favourite flowers! Thank you so much! Let me just put them in water."
Said Y/n as she left for a moment. When she came back they left for his car.

"You look nice"
Corpse said

"Thank you! Cant wait to get there, im starving! "
Y/n said as she got into the pasenger side of the car. On the way to the restaurant they talked. It was the usual stuff like what they were going to order and such.

When they arived they sat on a table in the far end of the restaurant.

"Thank you so much for bringing me here!"
Said Y/n

"No problem. So how are you doing?"
He asked

"Well not that great to be honest. Im trying to talk with Dave about breaking up. Im also going to ask him to move out, i was going to let him live with me if he payed rent, but now no matter how much money he pays, he isnt staying."

"What changed your mind?"
The male asked his date

"He was cheating on me for 3 months"

"Oh Y/n.... Im so sorry this happened! I will always be here for you"
Corpse said as he grabbed her hand across the table

"Its okay. Thank you for being so kind to me! It really means a lot to me.."
Said Y/n slightly blushing

Their wonderful moment was cut short by a waitress.

"Hello, good evening! Can i get you anything?
She asked"

"Yes! I would like some Chicen Enchiladas and a small water please!"
Said Y/n

What about you sir?

"I will have umm... Let me see... A Mexican Steak and a small water."

"Okay thank you! Your food will come shortly"

There was an awkward silence for a while when Corpse blurted out

"Have i told you that im half mexican?"

"Wow really? I dont know about my heritage."
Y/n said with a smile

The silence had become berable now, but it was still something that both were trying to avoid.

"I thought it wouldnt be so awkward"
Said corpse

"How so?"
Yn asked

"Well i dont know. I just dont know what to say, its just my anxiety i guess."
Corpse answered

"To be honest i havent been that anxious in a really long time. When i was younger i was a very diffrent kid, i couldnt really conect to my classmates, they didnt include me anywhere ,and i tried so hard to fit it but it didnt work. And because of that i developed extreme social anxiety and always thought about what peoples opinions  of me were and wondered what they were talking about me when i wasnt around. I feel like if they had the option to have me and not to have me, i know they would have chosen the ladder."
Y/n said

"Thats really rough, i didnt have the best childhood either, but i wont get into that."

"Then Y/n and Corpse began a very deep conversation about their feelings. They let it all flow out and by the time their food had arived they were a lot happier and had a blast talking and making jokes."

After they ate they sat around for a bit and asked for the bill. Corpse payed even though Y/n insisted that she pay her half. To make her feel better they came to the agreement that Y/n was going to get them food for a movie night when they had one eventually.

They left the restaurant and desided to go to a park and sit at a bench for a while. And so they did.

Sitting at the park bench Y/n and Corpse started to hold hands. Then Corpse got up and they started walking around still holding hands.
As they walked Corpse began talking

"Y/n, i cant hide this anymore. I know we met not that long ago, but i dont care. I wanted to say that i love you, a lot. You are an amazing person and being with you makes me happy. Even when you are not around, the though of you makes me smile and wish that you were there, with me. I know you are in a relationship and i know you will break things off soon so i just want to have my shot. I dont want to make you feel unconfortable or weird, if i am please let me know."
He paused.

Look....
Y/n said
